Good evening everyone I had a busy day. Went grocery shopping, bought a new microwave and stove. My old microwave died three days ago and I have been needing a stove and HH Gregg had a combo on sale....WOOHOO!! no interest for twelve months.....then I came home and got in the pool and baked myself silly.... Been busy since with laundry and dinner. Have to pack lunches for tomorrow for me and hubby then I will probably watch some TV and go to bed.. it was so hot here today and wall to wall sunshine....I'm beat!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Andi B

hi Kim, your sis is right. there isn't much to do in minerva...cow tipping maybe...LOL...just kidding....if you want to find some things to do there are the malls up here in Canton, the Strip is a nice place to hit walmart or borders, starbucks, etc. Westfield mall is nice. I only live 5 minutes from there......lots of places to eat (like we need two hundred restaurants...LOL no wonder i got so fat...lol). I don't know what your interests are but the nearest good live theatre is cleveland. not much in the way of sports except for the football hall of fame. we are just ending up those festivities tonite. I am not a football fan so I didn't go to anything. basically, it's a bore....LOL....if you like amusement parks we have Geuaga Lake about an hour from canton and Cedar Point which is a good three hours but worth it. so the main things to do: shop, eat, drink coffee and go to movies....lol.... i know this isn't much help...hope you enjoy your visit with your sis! Hi Lynda, My husband and I spent the morning painting the trim on our house (yuck)...and rewarded ourselves for our hard work by spending the rest of the day at our friends' pool...just floating...and talking...hmmmm...what a wonderful way to relax before heading back to the office in the morning! That sounds good to me--a little work and then a little reward--well actually I prefer the little work--lotta reward. Have a great week back at work. The week-ends tend to go too slow I know-even for me-who doesn't work.

Hi Lynda, This is the first time I've stopped in today. I've been working..blech. I am a medical transcriptionist, and I work from my own home. This was a perfect job for me at 380 pounds......just sit and type.......but now??? Yikes, I'm having a very difficult time sitting this still. I have energy to burn! At 155 and a size 10 now......I wanna' sooo be Out There. So, I'm learning I MUST structure and focus. New concepts for me...yikes. This is a new job - only a week old after 6 months off to swim, hike, bike, walk, and run......I feel like I'm chained to this desk! So, back to work for me.....structure and focus, structure and focus so I'll have time to PLAY....... Thanks for asking and keeping track of this new little family we're creating here. So, you travel for work? What do you do? Jeannie

Jeannie-Good job on that structuring and focussing! I have a hard time in that department. I have had almost 22 years off. I'm lucky I was able to be home with my kids-but now that they are gone I enjoy not having any responsibilities. The waitress here at the hotel calls me a "lady of leisure". She told me she wanted to be a "lady of leisure"--I told her that makes us even as I want to be young. I am just travelling for fun, actually my husband works up here in Boston and I used to be from here so I come up occasionally to cool off and spend time with him visiting family and friends. After I get my plastics done I'm gonna work on getting a job--maybe--cause playing is much more fun.

Lynda, I spent the day with my family in church. We had a fellowship lunch following this morning's service and I got soooooooooo sick. Something blew me up like a balloon! But, it passed in about an hour. I came home and went to bed!! Tomorrow morning will bring fun at the gym and then our first FULL day with the kids in the 7th grade!! Pray for me!! Have a great Monday!! Cheryl
