Where is everyone tonight?

HAHA! To be perfectly honest I golf so much during the winter when all my buddies are in Florida that I enjoy taking a break during the summer. Of course a break means different things to different people--to me it means I only play 3-4 times a week instead of 6-7. When my husband arrives on Friday that is all he wants to do--golf. I think that is why I am enjoying this week so much, getting to spend time with him doing stuff other than golfing.

I took my 16 year old daughter clothes shopping for school today, we had a nice lunch and went to 3 different stores until we finally went to where we normally go (wally world) and she found the kind she likes. then I was REALLY REALLY nice and stopped by Burger King and brought home food for my son and hubby! I am totally drained now but waiting to watch the 4400 then I will have to go to bed, have to get up early tomorrow for an appointment but daughter is going to try to sleep allllll day since its the last day of summer vacation. Donna--That sounds like a great day! Although some of my menories of shopping with my daughter when she was 16 are not that fond. Hmm-actually some of our recent trips weren't any great shakes either. We are really close--but both pretty strong minded. First day of school on Tuesday--wow! that is early.

I guess out here in the boonies of KY we get out early too, we get out the 3rd week of may. I pretty much let her pick out what she wanted, just told her NO ripped looking jeans and gave her a price limit. One big thing, I can actually wear the same size jeans she got, size 11 misses ..OMG, its unreal started in 26 W Donna

Wow--You are a much nicer Mom than me. I love to "help" choose the clothes. Really isn't having a daughter kind of like a life size Barbie doll?

its easier to just tell her what she cant have and then I go else where, no more fights... Donna

I'm here!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally got "out of prison" today. I have been helping my son with his kids since noon Wednesday. I won't be on long tonight. Just mostly catching up a liuttle. I am totally exhausted. Don't even feel human right now. Probably be rested up tomorrow. I wasn't here so how did your meeting with Miss JoAnn go?

Delores--I bet you are exhausted. When I babysit my niece and nephews by the end I can't wait to just sit and put my feet up and do nothing. Joann, Rita and I met and we had a great time. Really a blast! She posted a link to some pictures--tried to scan back to copy the link, but couldn't do it quickly. We went shopping (I have a wedding to go to) and tried on dresses. Joann was like a little kid--trying on a princess gown. All I know after looking at the pics--I can NOT wait to get my arms done! Take care and get some rest.

Joann, I wondered if someone might do that with your photo hosting since you gave out the passwords. To be quite honest, I thought about putting up the "sock man"... you remember him, don't you? I actually kept his picture before he took it down. DeeDee (who DID NOT mess with your photos... only thunk about it!)
