Saw one of DH golf buddies who I don't see often. We all were at a party after a big golf outing and DH introduced us and the guy got kind of a puzzled look and said "I think we have met before, Have you been on a health kick lately?" I just smiled and said "seriously." He said - "you look great!" I thought that was one of the most polite ways anyone had ever mentioned it to me.

I agree..what a great way to compliment someone on a huge weight loss. No one needs to be embarassed or uncomfortable! I've mainly had nice comments made to me, too! Sometimes I think it's awkward for people because they don't want you to feel like you looked like he$# before! Gail D.

LOL! Willow--I had a similar experience yesterday when visiting with so many of my husband's relatives. They kept telling me how great I look and one of them a Harley nut--like my husband--said I just saved my husband some money as now he could get a soft tail instead of a road king.

Hi Willow! Yes, that's the best PC way I've ever heard it put... usually the way people say it makes it sound like "weren't you a really really fat chick before???". Either way, I don't care, yes I was and yes I did and I feel great!!! Michelle 294/150
