Row Call- WLS Grads that Lurk
Hi Deb,
Ok, I'll get brave & post. I've been lurking everyday since they started the WLS Grads board. I'm on the California board everyday. I like this board alot. I'm 17 months out today & lost 101 lbs. I'm considered a lightweight. I've been struggling & don't always make the right choices with my food. I have a sweet tooth. Ugh!! It's my own fault I haven't lost more weight..what can I say? I think I'm the only one struggling but here I see I'm not. Just recently had a total knee replacement that I'm recovering from. Hope to learn alot from this board.

Hey Terri... Ok first off... the lurk mode.. won't work.. they done seen you now lady. Ya gotta start posting more. I dont know if you feel as I do but since coming here .. it has been the first time I felt.. dunno energized on a personal level..and challenged in a VERY long time as post op. I love talkin with others and get alot of enjoyment from that but I also being here on this board... feeling challenged and more aware of the things that I started slacking on. I am so happy to know my struggling is not just me...and seeing others with the same issues makes me not feel so down on myself. Posting keeps me more HONEST lol... its just part of the support sooo.. ya keep a posting girl. We are all in this together and since this is a new site.. many don't know each other yet so no "cliques" are here either like some chat sites! Its a circle of love!

I guess I would be considered a lurker. I lurk on many boards on OH. I have peeked at this new board a few times since it started. I have lost 200 pounds since my surgery on 2/22/02 and in April gave birth to our first child (a girl). Having a baby was a big part of the reason I had WLS since at 419 pounds I was unable to get pregnant. I still have between 50 and 75 pounds to loose and hope to have more plastic surgery soonish.
Thanks for encoraging lurkers to post. I usually don't feel like I have anything important to say but like making connections with people who understand where I am coming from.
Thanks again,
Cindy W
OK Cindy the Lurker.. yer busted.. they have seen you here as well now lol so no lurking... You seem like me ... a sponge absorbing from different areas.. I love surfing..
Wow you have alot of wisdom in different areas to help many.. losing over 200lbs is amazing but also having a child as well. now thats a bigggggggg blessing girl! Congratulations and I sure hope to see you here as much as you can... great to meet you "wonder lady"

Thank you so much for posting to this link!!!
Hi Deb,
I've posted here a few times and lurked every stinkin' day.....your comments about the little demon on your shoulder every time you post....LOL
I had to laugh, I have one too......I think most of us do. I tend to ramble when I post and I get very boring, or so I've been told. LOL. I'm trying to curb my verbosity and just post when I feel there is something I can offer......instead of sitting here and journaling!!! I post mostly on the Over 50 Forum - I'm old......and sometimes on the Cali board though I live in Phoenix. But I post less and less as time goes by.......I just don't seem to "fit" on the Cali board anymore and though the Over 50 board is fabulous, there are a lot of newcomers and I and a few others are the only ones a little farther out......if there are lurkers there further out than I am, they post rarely.....so this is an important board for me. I read every day.
So, if you don't see me much it's because I'm trying to learn moderation and not post too much.......LOL
You are doing a great job getting this board up and running......a more perfect "welcome wagon" could not be found - you rock!!
Keep up the good work!
P.S. I love my new After pic in my Before and After.....it is this thumbnail, and was not supposed to be the thumbnail......oh well...they are volunteers...and they do a great job!
