Insurance HELP!!!!

I went for a PS consult at hospital a and they submitted to my insurance for a pannitolectomy(sp). I decided not to go with them so went to hospital b and absolutely loved what I was told. They also are submitting to insurance but for abdominalplasty. Heres my question. what will my insurance do with 2 hospitals submitting? I don't want to ruin my chance of getting hospital b to do my surgery! any advice???? lisa

Leigh, I don't know if this will help any, but I was approved for my RNY with one doctor and changed my mind before the approval came in - the insurance company just transferred the approval to the second doctor. The only problem I see you might having is that some insurance companies will approve a panniculectomy and not an abdominoplasty. Good luck. Patty
