WHAT IS THE MEANEST THING SOMEONE CALLED YOU OR SAID TO YOU WHEN YOU...

It's probably not "mean" but it felt like it cut to the bone... "but you have such a pretty face" - yeah wtfe! Now I have actually lost that friend. I had her for 14 years and she just couldn't handle my physical change. She forgot that I was still the same "pretty face" person I always was. sigh...this friendship ending still hurts bad and it's been almost a year now.

The thing that hurt me the most came from a child. I was standing in line at the grocery store, and a little boy with his mother was in front of me. He said "Hey, you have a big tummy just like my mom!" About that time his mother turned my way - and she was so pregnant she was ready to pop. I made a joke about it, but that has stuck with me for so long. Having my second PS on Monday - hooters & arms. Have any of you had the arms done? I'm a little concerned about the limited use of my arms for a few days. What's it like? Have you had anyone make rude comments SINCE you have been healthy? My sister in law (overweight) called me the other day and said she can't believe I'm spending all of this money on plastic surgery AT MY AGE (54)!!!!! Besides, she said, I'm married, so it doesn't matter what I look like. I was horrified, and didn't know what to say to her. I'm not very good with snappy comebacks. Kiki - what would you say to this?
