Coffee is hot

Good Morning Guys and Chickies, How's it going this morning? still grey and drab up here, looks like another lazt day brewing, got the back of one of my sweaters almost done, so will finish that today, and start on the front, am designing a cardigan and shell set, am doing it in coral, is coming out pretty so far.. Did you all take your vities this morning? as soon as I hit post am going to get mine since I forgot them this morning.... I'm up, packed my lunch, got my vitamins in, and drank my 30 oz. of water to start my day (I'm too young to drink coffee). Have you knitted scarves and hats for our snow people this winter? You have a terrific day too. DeeDee

You have a great day today, and are you still wearing your pedometer? what are your vows for today? I vow to get in 2 bottles of water, and only one diet coke and 2 protein drinks......

I think the female snowperson may need some of those twirly warmer thingies. I think navy for the male and red for the female so they really stand out in your front yard. How close are your neighbors again? I need to start the vow post again, don't I? It certainly helped keep me accountable. Today I'm vowing to keep calories under 1000, protein above 60 grams, and water at 100 oz. at a minimum. I'm also heading to the gym after work (conveniently enough it is one floor down from my office). I went out this weekend and bought several end-of-summer clothes because I needed to get out of the baggies. There wasn't much left to chose from but I managed to get a half dozen tops and a couple pair of pants. So... I'm feeling really good this week with a new outfit on each day; a great motivator for me. It's so easy to get slack when the clothes are baggy but the new ones "fit" better so I have to watch it! I told TJ this morning I was going to go play in the snow with you this winter. He's just happy that those snowpeople will be far away from Mississippi ... you think we could get the AP to cover it so it hits my local paper? I'm checking in with you tonight to see how you did on your vows --- we can do it! DeeDee

Great Vows, and together we can do it again...... I downloaded fitday again last night, and I plan on using it faithfully.. and keep track of my water load on it... I will make some cute outfits for our snow people, with this being such a small town people are out looking for news for the paper, am sure this will make the front page..... lol...... we will send TJ an blown up copy.... Morning Val & all, Just a lovely day here, but last night for two hours around midnight we had rolling thunder & lighting storms. I live on the 5th floor with a brook running right beside us. It was incredibly awesome watching the lighting over the trees and brook. Had my vits and coffee already. At least I've started out on the right track, hope we can all maintain our efforts to remain true today Good Luck everyone, one step at a time Have a great day

Rita, Good Morning, We had storms last night as well, and the storms are so much prettier up here, without the city lights like we had in Md... I bet they were pretty over the brook... One step at a time is a great way to go, makes it a lot easier, maybe changing one thing a week, to be where we want to be is the way?? You have a wonderful day......

Lynda, Good Morning, and you are so right, they are beautiful, I ummmmmm ordered from targets a whole back yard set, complete with adrondack loungers and a outdoor fireplace... they should arrive this week, and I can't wait to get my "park" done, I can see a pillow, a blanket, the stars, and me in the chair..... lol..... Are you almost ready for your trip?
