WOW ! ! ! It's great to see you again. Sorry about the food issues. Not sure I have any answers for you either. Maybe others can pipe in. I have always felt a little fortunate over someone like you. For me I can keep minimal food in the house and only food for me and only food Iam allowed to eat. I always felt that those of you that have to cook for families have it tougher because you have to cook foods that maybe you aren't supposed to eat and those with kids may have som ejunk food in the house. That's tough. I still say you look young and awesome. You are soooooooo like my college roommate was way back when. Hang in and I'm glad you are back. Glad to see you and glad you are here for support giving and receiving. Thanks for the reply. Carolyn

I can relate to the sleep deprivation, I have begun taking wellbutrin and started taking premarin last week...woo hoo crazeeeeee!!!! LOL I have no idea of how to handle my food issues, right now I drink alot of sugar free koolaid to rule out hunger before eating, I eat a lot of crab legs because of all the work it takes to get just a couple ounces of meat...and *sigh* every now and then I eat things I should not...the battle is constant. I love my pork chop and cup of green beans for dinner and I am totally content, so why am I trying to find popcorn to eat before bed? I don't know!!!!! So I make the popcorn and I let noodle eat most of it. I just thank God that I don't have hot flashes and a nasty disposition to go along with my food issues any more, geesh!

LOL I have to laugh at your creativity for dealing with your food issues. I really love the idea of getting the "crab legs because of all the work it takes to get just a couple ounces of meat". I've never had crab legs so I am not sure how to cook them. OK....to be honest I am NOT a cook. Thanks for the idea of working at whatever I grab to eat. I'll have to look for ways to make what I eat more of an effort. Carolyn

When I'm sick or very tired (exhausted) I tend to gravitate more towards "junk" comfort foods. Not good. I can relate. Not to how tired YOU are gal...but I understand what you're saying. Just keep telling yourself that those foods are only going to make you MORE tired, depressed and icky feeling. They will. Sucks they taste so good going down. Ugh. (((HUGS))) and lubbs ya gal!

"Just keep telling yourself that those foods are only going to make you MORE tired, depressed and icky feeling." That might work. I get the more tired part because of sugar rise and then fall. Not sure how it would cause depression other than feeling low because I haed "failed". Not sure what the icky feeling would be. Glad I am not the only person who finds food when over tired. Carolyn

I am battling the same thing- tired and eating because I'm tired (or bored). If it is nighttime and I start getting the overeating cravings, I try to just go to bed. Or I eat as many of the SF Philly Swirls as I can. Or I drink alot of decaf coffee. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't The cravings are so bad I feel like I have no control over myself again. Good luck, Michelle 294/150/150

IF I am just bored I get around eating by going to my activity box. I keep things in there to keep me busy. Cross Stitch projects. Photos that have to be cropped and put in a photo album. A sign language book that I can try and learn from when I am able....... You get the idea. For me it's an issue of keeping my mind busy so I can't think of food. Unfortunately when I an over tired I don't have the concentration to do projects. Thanks for letting me know I am not alone with this issue. Carolyn
