I did everything I was suppose to do today. 832 calories with 77 grams of protein in that and 121 ounces of water. I went to the gym after work and walked the treadmill for 2 miles and did some crunches. Then, I came home and TJ and I got on our new toy for the very first time ... we bought a bicyle-built-for-two off eBay and picked it up this weekend. It was so cool biking around the neighborhood. I love the bike ... whenever I get tired I can just let TJ do most of the work and then join back in when I'm ready to hit it again. Shhhh... don't tell him I'm not completely doing my part the whole time!
To answer your question from last night.... I'm doing well with the revision but the weight loss is very slow. I truly feel like a 2 year post op with all that brings with it. The second surgeon only fixed the stomach by doing the transection so I didn't have much to heal from ... the stoma and re-routing of the intestines were left just as they were. I lost the benefit of that healing process like I had the first time. Ah well, I'm not complaining. I'm only 3 pounds away from being where I was before my staple line came "unzipped." It may take me longer but hey, I'm only 17,617 days old so I guess I have time to make it to goal.
So glad to see you here ... and, yes, I'm coming your way this winter to make snow people!! What's the closest airport to you?

Dee,
That Bike sounds great, and I have to say I probably would have to do most of the pedaling, while Mike relaxed... lol...
You did great today, am proud of you....
How is the house in Ky coming, are you still working on that....
Presque Isle would be the closest Airport....you would probably have to take a hopper like my Mom in Law has to from Boston...
Am glad your revision went so well, and hey three pounds from the unzipped zipper is pretty descent.... now we have to start making our vows again.....
It really helped last time....
Good Evening from the Island Val!!
Remember me??? Hey, I had to pop into this board, because well you know I just found it today! I don't post much on the main board, it started getting a little to fast & vicious for me. I post mainly on the Post Op Pregnancy Board, because well you know I am 30 weeks preggo!
But I saw your post, and I couldn't resist!! How have you been?? I am still living on the little ol' Island of Okinawa!! Drop me a line sometime! Much love & God Bless!~

Erin,
How can I forget you!!!!!!!!!!
OMG and a big hug and congrats on the new arrival coming soon, I know you must be so excited.... Do we know if it is a boy?
So how is life on the Island? Rumor has it you guys have had some big storms out there........
This will be my home now, I feel really good in here with you all, it is nice to be with people who understand, and not get flamed for doing wrong...
Been doing ok, we made a major move from Maryland to Maine, and I really do love it up here..
My Lupus has sprung it's ugly head again, so am patiently waiting for remission to set back in so I can get on with things....
How is Taryn, she must be getting big, and I bet she is excited with the new baby coming?
How are you feeling, everything going ok?
You take care, was great to see you, and hope to hear from you soon...
Love you Bunches,
Val
Holy Cow Val, a lot sure happens when your gone huh?? I am glad you like Maine. I am sorry to hear about your Lupus. Well, we found out I was preggo in February, wasn't really that much of a suprise really, we were trying for another. I just wanted to wait the 18-24 months my surgeon had recommended for me. It was pretty simple, only 2 months of TTC, and I was pregnant. We are estatic, and from what my U/S says it's a boy! Taryn could not be more excited, she is going to be 3 on October 4th, and this baby is due October 17th. So they will be exactly 3 years apart. I am done after this one though! Hubby is getting snipped! The pregnancy has been good thus far. I have gained about 30 pounds so far, even with eating healthy, and a few splurges here and there. I hope it comes off as easily as it came on! Taryn starts pre-school on Sept. 7th, 3 days a week. I know she is just going to love it! I am so glad the OH decided to put a board like this one up! It sure makes things much easier, and I was thrilled to see so many familiar faces! Okinawa hasn't had too many storms yet. We have a Typhoon on it's way this week. But, the one I think your talking about hit Taiwan, it missed us. Thank goodness. These Typhoons are no joke! Right now we are entering into Typhoon season, so I expect to see some more! Why did you move BTW?? Didn't you do a bunch of remodling to your house?? I am glad I found you again!! Much love to you & God Bless!
