Hey Guys and Chickies!!!!!!!
Oh Charlene,
I am so sorry, that things are the way they are for you, last we talked eons ago, you were happy in your new job...
I hope it all gets straighted out for you....
Is like Mike too, they have him out on Admin leave now, they don't know what to do with him, either workmans comp, or a medical retirement... so we are just waiting for the decision, all we know is that 4 Dr's said that he was through at the Pentagon.... Was a sad day for him, after all the time he put in there, and saying good bye, was the hardest thing he had to do....
I think getting him out here in a new life, and culture he will be better, but will never be my Strong Copper anymore, we all lost, but I have a feeling in my heart. that we are going to better off for it.. He is beginning to see how much fun it is just to putter around, and do things randomly...He was always regimented before, and this new free spirit thing, he has a lot to learn, am just waiting to get the fence up in the spring, and get the horses in, that will be good work for him too...
Anyways...... You get strong, and go for whatever it is you have to, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I love you, am here if you need me.......
Hey Val!!!
So good to see you too!! I'm sorry to hear of your husbands troubles. Know that you and he will be in my thoughts and prayers in the time to come. I had wondered what happened to you and am glad to see you post. I am down almost to goal and am very happy with my results. My, oh my...what a difference 17 months makes!! There is so much more I can do now and to top it off, we are moving in 4 weeks too to a bigger house, with land and trees, a hot tub and sauna, sun room, vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors!!!
Let me know when you will be out to visit...I'll have the bratwurst simmering in the low-carb beer!!
Anywho...you be good now and drop me a line from time to time to let me know you are still an EARTHLING!!!
Catch ya on the flip side...Cap'n K-Man...a.k.a..."Fruit of the Loom"
My one and only Fruit of the Loom....... lol
Your house sounds great.... We have a lot of work to do in here, to get it where we want it, but time is on our side now, and we are eager to get it done.
I refuse to start wallpapering until Marianne is off at school, will be less interuptions or should I say less eruptions, gosh didn't know 15 year old girls could be so tough....
Our house was built in 1865, and is truely a money pit, but I need something to take my frustrations out on, and this is it... I love the layout in this house, and I love the hard wood floors, but over the years, these old floors have been tiled over, and sub floored over, and all that needs to get picked up, and we need to get it back to el natural wood... Every room in this house is wall papered, and there are 28 windows, and 3 doors so there will be literally a lot of cutting and pasting to do in real time..... lol.....
Mike got his riding lawn mower this week, so he has been excited about that, and I am excited that he is excited, that means I will get my yard mowed.... lol...... and he can't get lost in the yard, well he hasn't yet anyways.....
I ordered all my patio and porch furniture from targets, they are having a great clearance sale on this stuff, if you need new stuff, for your new home..... being out here, the only store out here, is walmarts and that is 30 miles away, and a job lot type store called Mardens.... so pickings are few and far between, and target is cheaper then walmarts and has a lot more, and they don't charge shipping on some items too......
Well listen you stay happy, and as always, is great seeing you, and is nice that we have this new room, I think we will all be happy here......
Love ya, ya nut.......
LOL too funny,
But have to tell you, I love their area rugs, I think when Marianne goes back to school and I get the room papered, I will definitly get my rugs there....
Mardens is a hit or miss store, but love going in there and wandering around and seeing what neat stuff they have, am ummmmmm kinda impatient about the holidays this year, can't wait for them, and am sure Mardens will be full of neat things... Am going to check out the Christmas Tree Shoppe next weekend, when we go down to Bangor.... I loved the one in RI, and this one, looks double the size......
