Dry Vitamin D? Need clarifcation
I've been taking Liquid Calcium Citrate with Magnesium with Vitamin D.
Label says:
Vitamin D 500 IU
(as D3 cholecalciferol)
Calcium 600 mg
Magnesium 300 mg
I've been researching the boards and I don't see any clarification of Vitamin D3 being "dry" --- said something about that we don't absorb oil-based Vitamin D3....
Is the Vitamin D3 in this liquid calicium oil-based or dry-based? Am I able to absorb this Vitamin D3 at all ? Or do I need to buy a different Vitamin D3 in chewable form?
Let me know.
Thanks.

The vitamin D in this should be ok. It isn't oil-based.
How often do you take this? To get enough calcium, it should be 3 times a day.
Even at that, most people need a lot more D3 than this. But the only way to tell is by having your labs checked, AND seeing if you have a trend, over time, of your D going up or down.

The only way you know if your supplementation is enough is to get regular blood work.
I purchase my D from biotech or Vitalady.
