This is a great suggestion!  Thanks.

Here are my 5:

25 jumping jacks

25 squats

25 burpees (these I absolutely hate so it should be a good deterrent.)

drink half a bottle of water

Are you drinking with meals?  That may be a place to start.  I have found of all the things I have done since WLS not drinking with meals has been the most helpful.  It helps me put an end to my meals.  Once I finish I set my timer on my phone and I don't eat another bite.

Another thing I do is I don't eat again until I have had at least 16 to 32 oz of fluids.  This helps me keep up my fluid upkeep as well.

Another thing you may need to do is to detox off the carbs.  Things with sugar and flour as the most obvious things to cut out.  Give yourself a few days and the cravings should leave as well as the excessive hunger.  Eating carbs causes more cravings for carbs and also many carbs like crackers can be eaten mindlessly and don't fill you up so you can eat a whole box without even realizing it.

I avoid impulsive eating and still with my daily plan.  I don't log my eating anymore but I eat pretty consistently.

The good news is you will soon be able to recognize your restriction again once you focus on dense proteins and avoiding easy to eat carbs and the hunger will decrease, making it easier to stick with a healthier way of eating.

Thanks, Lynn!  I've stayed away from the scales, but I've cut out bread and soda this week.  I've been eating more veggies.  I feel a little better too.

Good start! Opt for the protein and veggies and you won't have room for much more!

Me? I consider my diet pepsi my one remaining vice. Caffeine free most the time but come ON. It's my indulgence. Right?

Hi! I had my RNY 6/2005.  I have fluctuated some and I find that the best thing for me is go straight to a low carb diet. It works quickly and effectively to get me back on track! I have realized I have to stay away totally from simple sugar or I get in major trouble!
