hiatal hernia years after vsg

I had vsg about 4years ago. Now have hiatal hernia and vomit at least twice per week. Anyone else had hernia post vsg?  What was the fix?

the fix is a short surgery to stich up the hole. I had mine fixed about 14 months post VSG. My doc also tacked the esophagus to the diaphgram since the smaller sleeved tummy was likely going north thru the hole he was fixing and we did not want it to keep doing that!. Can't say it was fun, but maybe I am better. I don't throw up tho, so that's good. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Had you experienced any weight gain priori to surgery?  Do you lose weight after the hernia surgery?
