How many old timers are finding that they develop gluten intolerance? Many years after a RNY, are you finding that there are new foods that you can't tolerate?  I am ten years out from a RNY.  Anyone living in Northern Colorado who might want to chat?

i'm four years out from being sleeved and over the last year i've developed quite a few food allergies. eggs make me sick now but i used to eat them daily without problems. i can eat egg whites, though. gluten, too. some but not all dairy. i just seem to be very sensitive in general.

I cannot tolerate eggs or mant types of red meat. Other than that I am pretty good.

I am over 6 years from RNY. I developed a lot of new issues and allergies over the years. I belive i may have SIBO.  Google that. New studies show that SIBO may be responsible for many issues, from food allergies, ibs, skin issues, inflammation, pains including fibromyalgia, and even mental issues.. Not forget also about iron deficiencies and problem with B12...

Not many docs know how to test for that our treat it... I hope i found one - plan to see her in November...

January, I'll be 11 yrs out.  I recently suspected gluten intolerance and when I backed off eating glutens, I felt better.  Over the years I've had changing food tolerances and reactions as well as various changes with cravings.

I lived 6 years in Westminster, CO, but now in MS.
