Hey guys has any one been denied for bariatric surgery thru Medicaid because of thyroid disorder? I had blood drawn last week for multiple reasons and my TSH level came back at 5. 67 will I not be aloud to have surgery? Any
I don't have medicaid, but I do have hypothyroidism and take medication for it. My doctor doesn't think that will stop me from being approved for surgery this summer. I would ask your insurance or doctor's office for peace of mind. Good luck!
