Hi All,

I haven't been active here in a long time. I used to live on these forums. So much great advice and encouragement. It's great to be able to connect with others who "get it".

I am 6 years post lap band and still having success. It's not always easy for sure, but it has definitely been worth it. In the past year alone I have run 3 5K races, two of which were mud run/obstacle races.

From the start I've only wanted to be a role model for healthy living for my daughter who is now 8 and was 2 when I began. It's working and I couldn't be prouder of myself.

Hope you are all fantastic and proud of your accomplishments too. I would love to connect!

Good for you!! I am coming up on 6 years post-op, too. My kids were 3 and 5 when I had my RNY (now 9 and 11). I am so thankful my wls gave me the opportunity to be a better mother. Life is good!!

Happy birthday.

I just had my 4th and am with you. I just have gone to the extreme and ran a marathon and lots of 1/2's and 5K's.

I think I like the bling!
