My 9 year...
Hello and ty for the congrads on my 9th year out....I have had a rocky time since having it done ...but still am a survivor!!...I had another surgery(THR) just 3 mos after my RNY and started right then with complications from the later surgery that forced me into disability...so with no insurance that would help me continue with my visits to Dr. Hoehn(love this surgeon...tytyty for my life back)...I have gained about 30 lbs back...for several reasons..mostly my mouth...lol..started with a stoma that was too tight and caused me to hurt when i ate much of anything(it has stretched on it's own...)and I was with so much hanging flesh, that I did not like me...no where could i come up with the money to have it removed, so I just let my depression and anxiety get the best of me...with the hip pain/nerve pain that I have had and muscle weakness since July of 2005...I have just recently in the past 2 years began to get a grip on my life again...still no money to have anything checked for my RNY...feel like need a lap band to go with it now...I am on SSD and you know they not care or help...I do not qualify for medicaid or don't think so anyway, so I am living me as me....forcing my body to cope and go on...lack more of exercise has been my weight gain...and again my mouth that lets most everything in it and a mind that needs to remember how almost 300 lbs felt...have less issues still with acid reflux and am thankful for ever breath I take...
Dr. Hoehn is the best and would recommend him forever!!!
