pannis removal
Hello:)
Medicare usually approves removal of the Pannis if you have 3 consecutive months of documentation from your primary care physican about the irritation. He should give you a prescription for the cream and if it doesn't go away, it should be documented. Save ALL documentation. There are a few other steps that are called for, as well. I know you have to write a letter stating why you need the procedure. The plastic surgeon I chose requires a $1400 payment upfront and then when they get reimbursed, I get reimbursed. Because of that I have yet done it, yet, but I will. Call around to see what plastic surgeon in your area accepts Medicare and ask for a list of requirements. That's what I did.
Good luck to you!
Very sincerely,
