Stopping in to say Hi!
I went to my Dr's (new PCP) today and we got into a convo about weight loss surgery and I told her I was almost 8 years out. I think that qualifies me to come hang out once and awhile on the graduates forum but you and I know we never really "graduate" WLS is FOREVER, no finish-line, just healthy choices, moving the body, working on the head stuff, forever and ever. Anyway... stopping in to say hi to those sharing the road. Sending my best to everyone!

P.S. I was happy to see my weight is holding steady -158 pounds lost total. All is well health-wise except very low iron/ferritin (2 infusions under my belt and we'll see if more are needed next month) all other labs are stellar so I feel blessed.
Hi Shelly! I am no WLS graduate but I check out this forum trying to learn what I can. I am one month and 4 days post op so usually read and post on RNY forum. I have been reading your blog for over a year now and I want you to know that you really helped me make an informed decision about having RNY. Love the recipes and all of your insight. Thank you!
Hello! You know I have to say staying involved in the WLS community has helped me... I log on to OH a few times a week to read or answer a q or 2, I blog still, chat with fellow WLSers on Facebook and Twitter (I'm @Eggface) and I attend at least one conference a year (this year I'll be in Orlando at the Your Weight Matters Convention) it helps keeps my head in the game.
Sending you my best!!
