nearly 10 years po RNY gb and now I'm dumping on almost everything
I was wondering if anyone might have some advice.
I was worried about a stricture or obstruction but I am not in excessive pain or vomiting.
I eat and feel like everything just sits in my pouch for a long time, I get weak, nauseated, sweaty, bloated, foamies and fatigued.
I've maintained portion control but here recently (last month) I had a terrible stomach flu and since then everything had changed.... Low appetite, nothing sounds good, regular foods don't sit well with me and I can't eat the amount that I should be eating.
Please help if you have any ideas
I'm sorry that you are having problems also. I was hoping that some grads would have suggestions for me but it seems that this site has changed a lot. It seems to be very commercial. I tried to Google for answers before I posted here but the internet is inundated with wls misinformation and the info I was getting was ridiculous. I do feel a little better, I guess I'll just wait and see if things get better or head to the Dr if my symptoms get worse or painful.

Go back to your surgeon or find one or maybe your PCP and have them do a test where they xray your pouch as your drink that, oh what is it called.ah, Barium to see if there is a problem with thew travel course of the food. I'm new to surgery and this forum so I don't know if this will reach you but it is sound advice. Just don't wait too late to do something.
I don't remember ever seeing any posts from you on this, so I went to look at your posting history to see what i missed, and this is the ONLY post that shows up from you.
Most of the vets here who have stuck around for many years (myself included) are VERY good about responding to people who are a number of years out and struggling. We actually try to make a special effort to respond to those kinds of posts because we know firsthand how hard it is to maintain the loss year after year.
It is hard to respond to posts that don't exist, though...

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Wendy, i am 11 years post op. Now, the food just sits and i am gaining weight. I have posted several times and never no replies. seems to be no interest in us olbies problems
Did you post uder a different account? Your posting history shows no other posts. Many vets work very hard to reply to posters.
