It has been awhile!
I just had my wls anniversary a couple weeks ago. I am 6 years post op. What an amazing journey this has been! Highs and lows, scale up and down. I will never regret my choice to have this drastic life changing procedure done. I was on this board all of the time, kept up to date on topics and people and then after about 18 months post op i quit coming to the site. I have gained back about 20 lbs and would love to lose it and I thought what better a place than with people who have walked a mile in my shoes! I am not sure what to do, the 5 day pouch test intrigues me, however I am ignorant to the process. Any suggestions, support or friendly kicks in the behind are welcome!! Thank you
Megan
surgery 1/17/2008
pre op 260lbs
today 170lbs
I also had surgery in 2008. Weighing, measuring, and tracking work for me when I am up a few pounds. I do not eat it until I enter it.

I'm not an advocate of the pouch test, because for me it would set up a deprivation/binge cycle. I prefer the slow and steady approach.

Hi Megan,
I will say you are not alone. I too have gained weight back. I would like to sat about 45 lbs. And I am a low cal intake to gety it back off. I have tried the 5 day pouch test and it has worked for me. I would just follow it to the T. It is kind of like you having your surgery all over agin fromthe beggining.
Good Luck
