Nice to See This Board Alive!

I've come and poked my head in here a few times over the years and not much ever seemed to be going on.  It is so nice to see long timers here and posting.  I thought I'd introduce myself.

Dawn, teacher, support group leader, and had RNY just over 7 years ago. I am a binge eater and compulsive eater and so this has made life post rny somewhat challenging at times.  I've lost 140 lbs or so.  I still bounce between 5-10 over my goal and can't seem to maintain that despite the huge amounts that I exercise.  Eating is a constant battle for me.

Just glad to see you all on here!  This is a great new resource and I will definitely bookmark this place again.

Hi Dawn, I'm 4 years out and recently turned to this board for support. I need to get a grip! I've lost 115lbs and gained 40 back! So, I'm here. For support and commeraderie from peeps who struggle like me! I'm admirable of your strength and determination to stay on top of things.

I like this board because even through our individual struggles I find hopefulness and helpfulness more than on the other forums.

Thank you!

Agreed! I haven't been to the "graduates" board very often but this board has great potential to help those of us who are years out.

Don't have to listen to all the "newbie" crap over and over and over either.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

The activity has increased. I look around here about twice a month. It's definitely a needed place for grads. Like Don said its ok to help newbies and answer questions but it does get frustrating sometimes.

Our needs are just different now.
