How much can you eat?
I'm probably being paranoid but I feel like I may have stretched my stoma so I'm curious how much you graduates can eat at each meal?
Mine seems to vary and my pouch feels very relaxed. Eating 4oz of chicken breast I do feel full in a way, but my pouch doesn't have the feeling it did just a year ago (I'm 6 years out) when it would stretch just a little and stay that way for a bit. It doesn't feel like it stretches anymore even though I can still wind up with a "full" sensation but it seems a little lower down. I liked the full pouch feeling at meals, it made me feel very satiated... this feeling, I know I'm full and I stop eating but it's not quite the same. I' worried I broke it I know the only way to know for sure is get scoped, but I don't have any insurance to get that done.
Thoughts?
Congratulations on being 6 years out and still having some restriction. After 4 years, I don't have much restriction and can eat pretty much anything I want. So, in order to maintain my weight, I have to watch what I eat. I doubt you broke your pouch - you are verry fortunate to have the restriction that you have!
100 gr prot+ 50 gr carb + 50 gr fat.
I make sure my carbs came from non starchy veggies, and some limited qty of fruits...
