Chrispy_Man...

I must report that you are RIGHT, I had my surgery in 2005 and have gained back almost 35 lbs.  It was slow and steady, people fail to realize that gaining 5 lbs per year.....by the time you are 5-8 years out you have regained 30 pounds.  I was "dieting" and following the "maintenance" diet and was NOT LOSING A THING.

Then I started to look into other things such as low calorie diets and the results many people are having.  I realized, that to lose weight I MUST REDUCE MY CALORIES lower than the main. diet.  I did not want to accept it, I did not want to admit it...but I've been trying to lose weight from 4/25/13 (date of my last doctor's note) and I have lost a whooping 10 lbs.

THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  For the last week, I have slowly started to accept, and understand and realize that I must lower my calories to lose.

Thank for your posting, it was very helpful to me !!!
