What WLS did you have?  What's going on with your joints?

Maybe we can talk/text before we get started.

Happy Saturday!

Okay hun, I That you are a sleeve!  Do you have a juicer?  If so every single day, start off with 1 cucumber, a couple of stems of of celery ( I use 4 big stems), 1 apple, and a nice piece of ginger.  It will yield 20oz of juice.  This is an anti-inflammatory and will help with your joints.  Tumeric (Curcuma) is excellent too.  It's hard to find in form other than ground.  I found it dried - it looks like Ginger and is what curry is made from.  Excellent for joints too.  I make my teas with tumeric & ginger.

Make  sure You are getting vit D3 - take it with calcium citrate!  Fish oil, glucosamine/ chondrotin/MSN/boswell. There are mixtures already made like Osteo Bi-flex.  Look for buy one get one sales & use and coupons available on on that\ because they are pricey!

To regulate your diabetes, cinnamon & chromium picolinate are good selections.

With joints no matter what the issue - do not Stop moving! Hot baths and heat therapy are great relaxers.  And the bonus to being sleeved is that we have the option of using not abusing NSAIDS.  Coat your stomach with food Before and make sure you drink a ton of water.

Good day

Hi! I was wondering if the juice for joints can be used by someone that had gastric bypass.

I don't see why not.  Tumeric is a wonder too for inflammation.  I actually found fresh tu,eric after a couple of months of searchinf.  Looks like ginger except creepier looking .

I think I'll join you!  I'm 10 months out and 15lbs. or so away from goal and I've noticed that some of my bad habits have crept back into my life!  I've been fluctuating the same 5 pounds over the past month, and this morning I was up an additional 2lbs.!  Time to get my head back in the game!

Wow - your goal sounds like mine!  I have 40 to lose and never hit goal.  I have my shakes ready, and am about to make my soup.  If I remember correctly, can't we only eat 1 cup of soup at a time?  I couldnt remember that detail...and aren't there measured portions on days 3, 4 and 5?

Yes, 1 cup.  I find the soup so satisfying and hearty that it can easily be split into 4oz serving it gives a  feeling like I am eating more (don't remember why I did this but it worked Bcuz 1/2 filled me).   The warmth makes it feel like a real meal.

Can't wait to wake up on day 6 :-) !

Only tried day 1 on a whim about 2 mos. Ago.  My stomach was flat when I woke up  And I swear I was down 5 pounds.  That was an absolute fluke and not a chance it will happen Again.

I'm super excited we are doing this together!!!
