So I will be posting daily before during and with results.  Maybe we could even start a beyond day 5 posting here - now this is no fad diet, this is to help you let go of the carb monster and go back to good  WLS post-op eating .  Like protein first, lots of water, 30/30 drinking rule, No Snacking - mindless snacking/grazing

I will get the link or you can just do a search for 5 day pouch test and get all the needed information.  You should too watch all the Kaye Bailey Youtube video's.  There is a 5 day pouch video created by someone on OH that is great too - it is a reading instructional video on the the 5 day pouch.  Most the other people who've posted about this before, during, and after are long drawn out videos that only serve as purging therapeutic tools to the maker.

Okay, who is with me???  I have the books and they are fabulous but all the information that you need to do the 5 day Kaye provides for free.

OMG, spring is coming.  It is a season of renewal . . . blossoming . . . revealing

Here is the link for the 5 day pouch test ALL the information you need is here - read thoroughly and prepare:

All best,

This would be great for you.  It is very important for you to catch the gain right now and develop a new post-op lifestyle that will afford you long-term success.

Check back in and let me know.  It is 5 days of your life!  Well then there is the lifestyle beyond day 5.

Hey Lisa!

Just checking in.  Are you planning for Monday - 5 Day Pouch Test?  So that you won't get bored and frustrated, you may want to prepare one of Kaye's soups and some protein jello.  I have my turkey sausage soup portioned in the freezer already.  That was a blip to make enlightened but oh so darn delish!  Watch Kaye Bailey's videos on Youtube if you can - How to do the 5Day pouch test right etc.

Talk to you soon.

Have a great day & weekend.

Layla

Hi All! I'm 6 months out and have completely fallen off of the wagon. My weight loss has STOPPED. I'm an emotional eater and I can't seem to find my way back. I would love to join you all on Monday. I need to get my eating together because I have to have knee surgery on March 19th. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Welcome Brandi!

Check out the info here:  www.5daypouchtest.com

and take a look at the Kaye Bailey videos on you tube

Knee surgery is hard but much better for healing when you are carrying less weight.  I've had ACL reconstruction and meniscus trimming then more of the same during a second surgery on that same knee 2 years later.  I had a dance accident - it was a jump, kick, spin, and I heard my ACL tear over the live drums indecision

All best!

Leila
