Make it to goal.. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with a 60lb. wt. loss!
Surgery 3/20/07
HW-354lbs.
LW-222lbs.
gained 25lbs. Originally thought it was 40lbs. Which made me finally open my eyes!!
1st. goal 199??? Just want to wt. one-hundred and what ever,??
2nd. goal- 185. Slightly more than 6yrs. ago goal, Docs. was 190lbs. mine was 160-175lbs. but....................I can live with 185lbs. coming from 354lbs.
It's only been a little over 3wks.of going back to basics like b4, Protein, vits. water,
& Excercise....low carb. foods, & fruits moderation. A slow loss. Which is quite discouraging ;-( I guess I thought I was going to loose 60lbs. in 3wks. huh?? not quite. Sadly, I am really trying and making every strong effort, but ?????????? not tomuch of a loss, only a little. 7lbs. 8lbs. scale keeps messing with me. Please tell me what am I doing wrong?? I have to be honest, I am still having my ****tail, a much smaller portion, but in my mind I know that's really whats hindering more loss. Got to free my self of the bottle.I love Apple martinis. My ****tail is my weakness and comfort! What are your thoughts folks?? be kind. I know at some point I will have too, at some point!! but....................Please be kind with your comments and or advice. Peace. jbug ;(

I never made it to onderland either...that's now my goal. I had a doc who never set a target weight for me. My lowest was 208 and it felt so stinking good. But then I had a pretty frightening health scare and I turned to comfort foods and well....hello 249 on the scales. Oh dear God how did I let that happen? I just got way to comfortable and let myself go. Now it's hard work to get it back together and headed in the right direction. It's a whole lot harder than I ever imagined.

Have you found a support group? Either in person or online, I encourage you to get active in one. Coming here every day and posting my eats and exercise in the Back on Track Together group (BOTT) has helped hold me accountable as I've struggled to get back into the game.

If you're not already doing it, start tracking your food and exercise. I wish I had some advice on getting rid of the ****tails - it's going to be difficult. Until you're really ready to give them up completely start making them smaller and having them less often. Replace the drink with a walk and/or a healthy habit. One person that I know who has been become my "idol" of sorts has the mindset that only those things which fuel her body are allowed to cross her lips.  I need to remind myself that every time I lift a crumb or a sip to mine. Good Luck to you.

July 10 th will make my 10 year anniversary since I had RNY surgery.  I lost about 70 lbs which I was very happy with but never was able to make it to my goal weight never made it to onderland.  As the years went on I gained about 5 - 7 lbs each year which isn't too bad until you fast forward 10 years and realize you have now gained back all the weight you lost from having surgery....It was a little over a year ago that I decided to try something that had helped my daughter lose her baby weight,  I was against this idea but thought I would try it just to show everyone it wouldn't work, well to my suprize the weight started failing off just as or faster than from the surgery.  What was it that I used to finally lose over 100 lbs, I used hcg and it was just what I needed to get my metabolism going again. It's been a year now that I have been in the normal weight category and it feels great.
