I guess it can help when combined with medical supervision and diet and exercise. like gastric bypass it is a tool.  Talk to your doctor and see what he or she says will work to give you a jump start to get you started on weight loss.  you can do this.  you did this before and you can do it again.  make wise choices....i believe in you.blessings to you my friend.

My nutritionist said that even if I start gaining back as little as 5-10 lbs that I should call her so she could hook me up with the doctor that can prescribe phentermine. I have taken it before and I think it would be a great tool to work in combination with the surgery and exercise/diet.

I was on phentermine before starting to go through the process of having gastric by- pass. It worked well the first month or so as long as I was able to get in exercise and continued taking the HCG shots the most that i lost was 15 lbs, but then i started to notice that the pills were no longer deterring my appetite so my dosage was increased. The pills started to do there job once again but the cost alone was starting to affect my pocket. If you are planning to take these make sure you include exercise or you will be throwing away your money.

AFTER WEIGHT GAIN AFTER THE BIRTH OF MY SON I HAD TWO SCOPES, AN UPPER GI AND SEVERAL VISITS WITH THE DIETICIANS AND SURGEON. MY SURGEON SAID I STILL HAVE A VERY SMALL POUCH AND PUT ME ON ADDIPEX. IT HAS HELPED. I HAVE LOST 15 POUNDS SINCE TAKING IT.
