I am a little over 2 years, I have lost 170 pounds and have maintain it.. I still want to lose 10 more pounds and I have not been able to lose these last 10 pounds-- I started Weigh****chers just for a change of pace, the weight is finally starting to come off-- never thought about weigh****chers but it broke my stall and I love it..
I started WW before surgery and lost 40 lbs. Had a lot of complications due to my rny. After I got out of the nursing home after 10 months, I went back to WW to get rid of the rest of my weight. At that point, I lost 150 lbs and wanted to lose an other 50. Lost it and made maintenence. I liked the idea of getting weighed every week, all the accountablity that goes with. I couldn't do ww before but ww helps keep me honest.
As a gastric by pass patient , how does Weigh****chers work for us ?
I thought Weigh****chers would have us eating more then we should or foods that we shouldn`t, like Carbs?
I am struggling and maybe Weigh****chers would help me?
Please chime in and clue me in about how it works for us?
I am almost 5 years out and since last October I have been on a roller coaster ,eating too many bad foods, and I have a regain of 10 lbs plus I feel like ..............SH__T I know I need to stop but I don`t, too easy to say next week I will put away the junk food...and then next week comes and I repeat myself..........So I am really interested in hearing about Weigh****chers.......

How does WW work. I have had a 20 pound regain and want to lose that plus additional weight. Is WW good for bypass patients? I am thinking about going myself because of the accountability of weighting each week, but I am concerned about the amount of food they can eat. I am almost 5 years our from RNY and struggling with eating. Maybe WW is an option for me as well. Kind of hate to pay to weigh, when I can do it myself, but maybe if I know I will be paying every week, I will be more dedicated to not cheating.
