Accountability - Monday
All in all not a horrible day. I've been tired since I woke up..There's just something about not getting more than 4 hours sleep that makes me drag all day long! No more Sunday afternoon naps for me!
My eats today:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 waffle, 1/2 small apple, 1/2 sf pancake syrup and butter buds
6:30 am double espresso latte
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea..Good Earth Cocoa Tea..good stuff with splenda
8:00 am 1 oz jack cheese wrapped with 1 service smoked turkey deli meat
10:00 am 1/2 egg burrito from Saturday.
11:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
12:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
1:45 pm 3.5 oz chicken breast, 1 slice processed cheese on a sandwich thin
2:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated
6:00 pm 3 beef tacos (3 small corn tortillas, 2/3 cup cooked ground beef, 1 oz cheddar cheese,
tomato, lettuce (YUM!))
7:00 pm 1 slice banana bread
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1648
Fat: 82.0
Carbs: 124.3
Protein: 112.1
Not bad. Had I skipped the banana bread, my numbers would have been better but that banana bread isn't gonna eat itself (and it's Soooo good toasted!)

Monday was good. No Starbucks from the store but I made some at work. Went a little crazy with the non-dairy creamer, so I didn't drink the whole thing. I think I can see myself breaking away from the habit. That is a big deal because a week ago there was no way I was going to do it. Also, my work is having a huge 30th anniversary banquet in November. It is sort of a black tie affair so I ordered a black taffeta floor length skirt. IN A SIZE 14. I have not worn a size 14 since I was in 8th grade. It came yesterday and fit with no problem. I am so happy!
Here is my food:
32oz water and am vitamins
B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese and 14-16 almonds, 5 prunes, 2 tbsp golden groun flaxseed
8oz coffee w/1tbsp non-dairy creamer
L: 1 cup southwestern quinoa casserole (chicken, cheese, blackbeans, corn), nectarine
32oz water and pm vitamins
S: Atkins protein bar
D: 2 slices Dave's Killer whole wheat brea, 3 slices hame, 2 slices havarti, 2 tbsp cream cheese
S: 2.25 oz pumpkin seeds
cals: 1720, fat: 84.25, carbs: 116.5, protein: 112
Off to Tuesday. Have a good one :)

Yeah, the coffee thing, if I had to buy it at Starbucks every day, it would be a no-go..but last year, my daughter gave me a $30 gift card for there and then I won one at a staff event at work..and got another one from someone for Christmas at one of the school sites..(they LUV me there! ) so I didn't have to fork out any money and the rule at work was we couldn't go on facebook or hotmail..both of which are mandatory for my private life! So when they opened it up to our network at work on a public computer..yeah, I left starbucks at the mall and do my espresso at home. I'm not ready to give up caffeine (I gave it up for a year after surgery, I know I can do it..just don't wanna).
Other than the day is turning out to be boring for the first half (I know they're holding off till afternoon to swamp me) I'm having an okay tuesday. You do the same!
