Yesterday ended on a sour note..I intended to grill the chicken breasts that I marinated but dear hubby stewed them in their own marinade and that tasted a bit like a lemon cleaner..bleh..but my numbers were better:

breakfast (normal, normal, waffle, pear, sf pancake syrup). coffee and no double espresso latte

second breakfast: an egg burrito at a cafe in town..I ate the whole thing but we were there for two hours visiting with my ex and daughter and son-in-law..it was a nice visit..

lunch: can of tuna with 1 cup cole slaw

dinner: 5 oz chicken breast and a bite of frozen green beans cooked

totals for the day:
Calories: 1444
Fat: 61.3
Carbs:99.9
Protein: 126.2

Good numbers. I knew that burrito was going to be heavy. I counted it as a half a pound so even if it was less than that, it counted big..557 calories? YOU BET.

Monday is the first day of my vacation and so far it's going pretty darn good..lazy day (not really) but still feels good to be at home!

I'm here, I haven't skipped out.  My weekend sucked.  It didn't SUCK, but I am not being as vigilant about eating what I planned and that is not good.  I feel guilty and like I am sliding downhill.

I didn't hit submit this morning so what I typed was lost.  Basically my numbers were under between 1600 and 2000 from Friday and Sunday.  The sugar free oatmeal cookies I made are gone.  I ate 7 of them Friday night and 4 more Saturday night.  They are great - healthy, sugar free, etc.  I just can't have them around me right now.  So no more for awhile.  I want to get some time under my belt where I am not dorking around with the plan for my meals.

I will post my food for today later tonight.  I am still at work but planning on leaving early.  We are slow right now.  I am caught up and am going to take advantage of it.

Type at you later...

It's the stress that makes me reach for the cookies. I rationalize that at least they're home made and at least they're sugar free. I try and keep a positive outlook..I start out positive each day and hopefully they dont' beat me down too badly by late afternoon..

See ya later.
