Accountability - Wednesday
If I can only hold out two more days, I have a three day weekend..woo hoo..Another near fatal meltdown today..dropping the *F* bomb when I could..but they want me to be happy happy nice nice and not complain when they're putting more pressure on me than a normal human can take! If I didn't have a sweet hubby at home who babies me and makes my dinner and coffee, I'd really be a hag!
my eats:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 serving waffles, 1 small pear, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup (I actually got up early enough to make my waffles..woo hoo! that's one win!)
6:30 am double espresso latte (2 oz espresso, 1/2 cup plain soy milk, frothed, splenda)
7:00 am 24 oz iced tea (tried to get gasoline this morning but Costco was closed..that was the first speed bump)
8:30 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 serving smoked turkey breast deli meat
10:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice non-caffeinated (I wish I could remember when I actually drank water today..after this it got really busy..)
12:00 pm lunch consisted of: 2 small flour tortillas, 4 oz baked chicken breast, 1 cup cole slaw
sometime in the afternoon: 24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated
sometime later in the afternoon: 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated
when I got home: most of a 24 oz container of drink mix with alittle ice..about half..
6:30 pm dinner: 5.25 oz chicken breast braised in tomato sauce, 1/2 cup potato salad..I wish I could eat the whole half cup of potato salad..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1425
Fat: 57.5
Carbs: 113.5
Protein: 117.3
Now these numbers are if I only eat 1/4 cup of that potato salad..it's still on my plate and I could do it..we'll see.
I did alright, all things considered. I don't know how much more of this junk at work I can take but then I think, they're trying to drive me crazy and I won't be driven..I won't let them have the satisfaction..I'm tougher than that! Tomorrow is another day!
How did you do?

Here's to never forgetting where I came from so I never have to return...

I can hold on a while longer..this next weekend is a three day..so that's cool. Then four more days and I have a whole week off..I'm happy as hell about that. I know what you mean about the coworkers that just jump on your nerves. One in my office is that way..I take my lunch at a different time so that I get a WHOLE TWO HOURS without hearing that nagging voice!
You did good..don't sweat those carb numbers..looking at the list, they're great carbs. prunes, seeds, nuts and blackbeans? blackbeans are my absolute favorite beans. I bought some in bulk last week cuz I thought .79 a pound was great..of course, this week they're 2 lbs for .99..lol. oh well. good enough.
I'm going to adopt that attitude: GOOD ENOUGH..and walk slower, move slower and that might make me faked into thinking I'm calm.
You have a great day! See ya.
