Busy stressful day. But I kept on task and didn't miss much. Hubby made burger patties for dinner and I chose to NOT have the sandwich thin with it. A dab (about an ounce) of meatless spaghetti sauce on it and it was YUMMY..

My eats for the day:

coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

breakfast: 1/4 recipe protein waffles, 1 nectarine, 1/2 sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte

24 oz iced tea with splenda

24 oz drink mix with the rest of the ice from the tea

1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc deli ham

24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated

lunch: 2 flour tortillas, 4 oz cooked steak, 3 oz cooked chicken breast, 2 slices processed cheese (yeah, this was a big lunch but it took a long time to eat it)

24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated

1 hard boiled egg

24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated

Dinner: burger patty: 5.5 oz after cooking, 1 slice processed cheese slice, 1 oz meatless spaghetti sauce

Totals for the day (don't faint!)

Calories: 1868
Fat: 98.1
Carbs: 91.2
Protein: 156.0

Really not bad. 35% protein for the day. 19% carbs.

How did you do?

Looks good to me!  It makes me feel better to see your calorie intake vary so much - mine sure does!  Since you are my WLS idol:)

I am still pleased with myself b/c I am posting, tracking and really watching the water thing.  The later is the most helpful!!  I ran yesterday but not today!  Sure, I could use the fitbit, track my carbs, etc, etc, but one day at a time.  That's how I am feeling right now.  I declined going out with friends tonight and went on a bike ride with my son - saved the calories and the $$$!

coffee 50
1/2 avacado
125
chicken sandwich 480
salad (homeade dressing w/ garbonzo beans) 250
1 chicken enchilada 350

Total - 1225

BEST NEWS IN TEXAS:  We are expecting a cool front:)  That means I can start running in the afternoon!!

Happy Tuesday everyeone!

Tomorrow's goal:  LESS CARBS:)

Thanks for the vote of confidence..I really felt let down when my idols early out started to re-gain their weight so I took it to heart when people said "Wait till you gain it all back!" I guess I'm the stubborn kind and "I'll show YOU." attitude. LOL.

beans are a good carb, avocado is a good carb (and good fat)..the only thing wrong with the sandwich is the bread and if you picked whole wheat or whole grain, it's not so bad..I do chicken salad or tuna salad on rolled up romaine leaves. Sometimes I just don't like the carbs that bread adds to my numbers but then I'm an OCD accountant and numbers are my life!

LOL..have a great Wednesday!

Ooooo. Yum on those cookies. it's a GOOD thing I'm allergic to tree nuts. That's probably the only thing that helps me during the holidays. Everyone puts nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds...) in their baking and even if I wanted to do the sugar stuff or they made them sugar free, I sorta like breathing so no tree nuts for me. Keeps me on the straight and narrow!

I've been scoping out protein bread recipes and I'm gonna probably have to make my own recipe to get the numbers I like.

Keep up the good work. See ya!

Would you be willing to share the recipe for your Almond/Banana/Oatmeal Cookies?  Do they have protein powder in them?  Thanks!

 Here is the link:

http://watching-what-i-eat.blogspot.com/2012/06/peanut-butter-banana-oat-breakfast.html

Instead of peanut butter I use the crunchy almond almond butter.  I use Max Protein by SEI (the one that Eggface uses), I used Motts sugar free applesauce and I used roasted, salted almonds and I didn't use any chocolate/carob chips.  When I made my batch I was able to get 20 cookies and my nutritional stats using the ingredients I used were per cookie: cals: 79, fat: 4, carbs: 8, protein: 3

Yeah, the nice fluffy bun on those roast beef sammies at Arbys are soo soo good but soo soo high in white carbs. I can't think of anything to use instead other than a tortilla but occasionally it's not a bad thing. It's a nice change.

Keep up the good work. See ya.
