Tuesday and Wednesday Accountability

Hi,
It seemed a bit late to post yesterday tonight so I decided to start today's post and include yesterday. 


These are my stats for Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  Tuesday was a bit carby, but my activity was so high I think I needed the energy!  I did have a sandwich, but also whole grain cereal and chipotle sweet potato fries (oven cooked).  This is where most of the carbs came from.  Today it was hot and humid and I felt like a slug!  Not as much activity.   Just trying to stay cool.

Even in 108 degree weather I managed to get a walk in..maybe a half mile outside but I did move around alot inside..If I had to guess, maybe 2 miles. Not bad for a desk job. And I was super busy! I finally got all my stats loaded into fitday..dinner is done and I have one more container of water..but I'll be stuffing a ton of ice into that!

What I ate:

coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

breakfast: waffle, pear, sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte with plain soy milk

totally forgot my water on the drive into work!

24 oz water with ice, non-caffeinated

1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 oz turkey breast deli meat

24 oz water with ice, caffeinated

most of my salad: greens, tuna (one can, water packed drained) 1 small tomato, 1 oz raspberry vinaigrete

24 oz water with ice, non-caffeinated

the rest of that salad

24 oz water with ice for the drive home

1 hard boiled egg, 1 left over dinner roll with butter

dinner: 2 large slices tomato (grilled) 4 banquet meatball marinara, 1/2 cup cooked hamburger and 1 oz cheddar cheese added.

later: another container of water.

Totals for the day:

Carbs: 95.6
Protein: 118.3

Not bad. Need to cool off..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

OK, Michael, I am going to work on tracking more than just calories!  It's a great idea!

Today - I am most proud of not eating water after my meals and it really does work!!! 

We went to Mexican for dinner where I didn't eat any chips - just my fajitas.  I didn't actually finish the 2nd one but counted it anyway assuming that I didn't the calorie count just right anway.

I found my fit*****arger but not the fitbit:(  will keep looking.  I did run again today!  Fall can't arrive soon enough!!!

 Wow hi everyone.  This is great to have everyone here.  Yesterday was pretty good.  I work on a big campus and ran around a lot from one end to the other.  I have to admit that I do not formally excercise.  I have a huge aversion to it.  But lots of walking for my job.  Anyway all went well yeserday.

Here is the food:

Early morning protein bar to combat the reactive hypoglycemic attack
32oz water and am vitamins
B: 2 slice protein bread, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1 tbsp sugar free apricot jam
Iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
L: 1 cup white chicken chili, 1/2 apple
32oz water and pm vitamins
D: Red Robin grilled turkey burger on whole wheat bun
Iced grande sugar free vanilla 2% latte

Cals: 1830, Fat: 69, Carbs: 159 (hello turkey burger), Protein: 125.5

I have been getting really hungry in the afternoon but I am thinking it is my body needing more water.  It is getting REALLY hot here and I notice by the end of the day my legs and feet feel tight the way they did when they would get swollen up before I had the surgery.  I am going to drink another bottle of water today and see if that helps.  Type at yoou all later.
