No numbers today for me. Today is a sort of celebration or happy ending. I went to see my surgeon after 5 years. This last July 11th was my 6 year Surgiversary and I thought it fitting to show my surgeon that I've done well; that I've maintained and that my labs have been good. Job well done for him AND me. He didn't look well to me. I don't think he's going to be practicing medicine for too much longer and that's sad. He said that I don't need to send my labs to him when I get the results but he'll keep them on file. He said to stop by if I'm ever in the neighborhood..

My eats:

coffee with NSA Swiss Miss

breakfast: protein waffle, small pear, sf pancake syrup with butter buds

coffee with NSA Swiss Miss

second breakfast before we left for the appt: 1/2 egg burrito with just cheese, no hashed browns (left over from Sunday)

24 oz container of water with drink mix, non-caffeinated

24 oz container of water with drink mix, non-caffeinated

24 oz container of water with drink mix, caffeinated

lunch: at Sizzler: 1 cup salad, oooo..with crab salad and honey mustard dressing, grape tomatoes. so much so that when the veggies and malibu chicken came, I could only eat the chicken (barely) so I saved the veggies

24 oz container of water with drink mix, non-caffeinated

actually took a nap! It was well over 100 degrees here today. definitely nap weather under the swamp cooler..

dinner: the left over veggies sauteed, 4 oz baked chicken breast (also sauteed with the veggies) a sprinkle of powdered gravy mix, a bit of water, soy sauce and some fried oriental noodles..yum.

That's it for me. I made some good choices, no rotten choices, no numbers but I'm okay with that. I need another container of water and then off to bed..

You did great. See ya tomorrow!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Wow contragts Dawn.  Sort of bittersweet though.  Sorry I have been out of commission the last almost week.  I went to a convention starting last Friday and had WAY too much fun.  Stayed up until Early o'clock each day, danced the longest and hardest I have danced for a long time and am still paying for it.  I didn't track (obviously) over the weekend, but I can tell you from reconstructing everything that my calories for Saturday and Sunday stayed within 1500.  Sunday I was delirious and I ate too much.  That day was around 2100 calories.  I have been in range since but just too tired to get on line.

Here is my food for yesterday:

32oz water and am vitamins
B:  1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 2 tbsp golden ground flaxseed
Iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
L: 21 sea salt soy crisp, 12 shrimp, 1 tbsp cream cheese, 1 tbsp mayo, 1 peach
32oz water and pm vitamins
D: 2 slices protein bread, 3 thin slices hame, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp cream cheese
S: Supreme Protein bar

Cals: 1730, Fat: 66.5, Carbs: 103.5, Protein: 128

I woke up in the middle of the night today with a hypoglycemic rush.  Sweating heart pounding confusion.  Ate a protein bar and it stopped.  Very weird but it happens every once in a while.  Wnayway it's good to be back.  Type at you later/

I hate those RH things especially when they happen in the middle of the night! good that you got it under control pretty quick. I generally have those when my carbs go a bit more than my dense protein..maybe the ham wasn't dense enough..who knows!? Doesn't matter, it got fixed.

For the high days, especially when it's a special occasion, I figure it's a day off..since you danced the night away, count it as cardio exercise and just have a blast with it. It sounds like it was fun!

Yup, type at ya tonight!
