Accountability - Thursday
Wow..busy day but I'm getting back to normal. I was up early enough to do a load of laundry and that always makes me feel good!
My eats:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffles, 1 plum, SF pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso latte (With plain soy milk)
7:00 am 24 oz iced tea with splenda
9:15 am 1 oz cheddar cheese and 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
10:30 am a couple of sugar free cookies running into a meeting with my boss so that my stomach wouldn't growl.
11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated
1:00 pm 4 oz cooked chicken thigh, 1/2 cup cooked broccoli, 1 egg roll (left overs from last week!)
2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated
3:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated
5:30 pm 4 oz stewed chicken, 1 medium flour tortilla, 1/2 oz cheddar cheese with 1/4 cup instant brown rice.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1463
Fat: 72.6
Carbs: 89.4
Protein: 115.5
Not bad! I nearly forgot to put that hard boiled egg in there but I did. I need one more container of water and possibly a small dessert or something. or not, maybe...I haven't decided yet.

The heat and humidity have returned and I realized that I was turning into a slug and was having another low activity day. So, I pulled myself off the sofa, went to the local mini-mall and walked the aisles in a bunch of different stores and up and down the escalators. I felt so much better getting out and moving. I just had to have oatmeal this morning (in the mood) and a couple of forkfuls of my daughter's liguini so my day was too carby. Glad I moved my butt more!

Great idea! We don't have humidity around here very much so it's not bad to walk around in the evening or in the morning..WOW...look at that protein number..AMAZING!
Really it comes down to calories/protein and movement. I am not a gym rat cuz I can't afford the membership but I'll park further away from the stores and go to car shows or farmer's markets or flea markets..ALL movement counts!

It's another hot, humid one today. May veg at the movies (Total Recall is out), but that means I will have to figure out how to move more the rest of the day. Will be grocery shopping (thank God for AC and frozen food aisles! LOL) and doing laundry (lots of steps between upstairs and basement) so that will help. Will log yesterday later.
