Accountability - Sunday

Sunday..church, two loads of laundry..We got a call that someone had dropped off two small kittens at the neighbor's house and I went out to see if I could help find them and visited the other neighbor right as she got off the phone from finding that she lost a close friend..I'm so glad I stopped by! But apparently the little kittens are gone. Probably eaten by something in the night. If they were really small, a raven could have taken them..I just hate to hear about rotten people who drop off animals..Just once, I'd like to see someone doing that and I would beat the hell out of them!

My eats for the day:

breakfast of coffee and a waffle with a plum and sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte

24 oz container of water with splenda flavor (I think it's equal but it's non-sugar anyway)

second breakfast: 1/2 egg burrito and another cup of coffee

water water water. I made some grapefruit crystal light last night and drank the whole container today..64 oz with all the melty ice included

lunch: 1 fried up egg (actually microwaved..no fat) and a slice of processed cheese in a small tortilla..The local mexican market has a tortilla making operation and fresh tortillas made from butter (not lard) are just to die for!)

more water and some walking

dinner: 1/3 lb burger with processed cheese on a sandwich thin

today I made some carpet freshener (the powdered baking soda based kind) with some fresh ginger and fresh grated nutmeg (baked to dry out the ginger) and it worked pretty darn good..a lb of baking soda I think is $.45..and I also made some sugar free swiss miss mix with splenda..

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1577
Fat: 90.0
Carbs: 109.0
Protein: 95.1

still, it evens out I guess..tomorrow is the start of the week but the good thing is that I get a day off in the middle of the week..I figure I can make it two days at least..

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I hate to hear about people abandoning and abusing animals too.  All of our animals are rescues.  Have you heard about Pinterest?  There are all kinds of things like you homemade carpet freshner on there, along with some really good recipes.  I think you would like it.

Chicken is usually a really good source of protein..I know about pintrest but I hesitate to get into that since facebook is consuming so much time..
