Accountability - Monday
Did NOT wanna get up today..drug myself out of bed and had coffee..it felt like it took forever for my eyeballs to focus! HATE Mondays! I got my employee review today and it was good..I've been a good girl lately but I always worry that it will come out bad..Guilty conscience I've lived with my whole life..I'm not sure where it comes from but I never think I work hard enough for me..everyone else loves how I work..I just don't measure up to myself, I guess.
My eats:
5:45 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffles, 1 small nectarine, SF pancake syrup
6:45 am double espresso latte
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea with splenda
8:00 am 1 oz jack cheese and 1 slice turkey breast deli meat
8:45 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Lemon Tea
9:45 am 1/2 egg burrito from Sunday
10:30 AM 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated
1:00 pm salad: 5 oz cooked turkey burger patty, 1 cup cole slaw and 1/2 corn on the cob
2:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated
3:45 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, non-caffeinated (liquid flavor)
6:00 pm 4 oz cooked steak, 1 small baked potato, 1/4 cup canned corn and 1 tablespoon margarine
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1910

Carbs: 123.7
Protein: 134.5
Well, it's high all over..but the ratios are right..mostly. I'll call it a win. Tomorrow is our district barbecue. I'm bringing potato salad but won't be eating any..They were marinading the meat when I left today..It should be good, I hope it is cuz I will be eating it..

Well I went in to work on the wave of a panic attack (literally) based on what was waiting for me. I was able to calm down. My boss who has been out and for whom I have been covering for about three weeks while she was on leave of absence is now back and let me leave early (God bless her). The food went well. Here it is:
32oz water and am vitamins
B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 2 tbsp golden ground flaxseed, stevia
(I buy Bob's Red Mill pre-ground flaxseed. I like it best because it taste nuttier. Also I am a little weiner when it comes to a lot of kitchen stuff...)
Iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
L: 1 cup white chicken chili with hominy
32oz water with pm vitamins
Iced grande sugar free 2% vanilla latte
23.7oz water
D: Flatout flatbread, 1/2 cup fat free refried beans/seasoned ground turkey/sauteed onions, 1/4 cup cheese
S: Supreme Protein caramel nut chocolate protein bar (sugar free version)
Cals: 1680, Fat: 67, Carb: 100, Protein: 128
Okay and I love this protein bar. LOVE IT. I also weighed myself this morning and am down to 196.2 from 199 last week. Yeah! So I am off to eat dinner and kick back for the rest of the night. See you tomorrow and I hope they gave you a raise with that review!

I wish my backup would come back to work..she's been out 4 months of the last six..We're an office of 7 people and only 3 people doing those jobs..but trying to stay possitive. There's no way in hell I'm skipping my vacation if I have the money to go..and I will have the money come hell or high water!
You did awesome! It takes a while to find a protein bar that works for you..I love peanuts and peanut butter so that's the way I lean on that..
Nah, no raise. I got raises for the first five years, now I'm at max and only get a raise when they recompute the wages..I think that was about 4 years ago. Lately our benefits have been costing more and more so...no raises here, pay cuts mostly. I guess I should be lucky to even have a job with 17% unemployment in this area..
