Accountability Friday

I am so grateful its Friday.  I am tired and work has been hard, dramatic and chaotic.  I am ready to not think about it.  Going to go see Prometheus tonight with the hubs so I am taking (sneaking) my dinner in with me.  I tend to like to eat snacky foods in there so I figure I might as well eat my dinner and stay safe/sane.

Here is the food for today:

32oz water with am vitamins
B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 2 tbsp golden ground flaxseed, 1/2 tbsp Stevia
Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
L  1 cup white chicken chili, 1 cup cherries
32oz water with pm vitamins
16 oz diet peach Snapple
S:  Pure Protein Choco Peanut  Butter Protein Bar
L:  2 slices protein bread, 3 thin slices deli ham, slice havarti cheese, 2 tbsp cream cheese

Cals:  1583, Fat:  52, Carbs 126.5, Protein:  126

Okay.  The protein bar was the big jumbo one so the carbs were from that, the cherries and the prunes.  Meh, okay I won't die over it.  I am happy with all of it.  I just am not freaking out about my carbs.  I know where they are coming from and it is not a crazy sugar encrusted place.  Not covered with processed food either - except for the protein bar and that has a purpose as far as I'm concerned.  I may drink more water but there will be no more food (I said that like Gandalf "you shall not pass" sorry if you didn't see Lord of The Rings).  I'm getting a little punchy, time to go make my sandwich/dinner and go see a movie.  Hope everyone's day went well.

Here's to never forgetting where I came from so I never have to return...

I would call the cherries and prunes good carbs and the protein bar..possibly good carbs provided it had some fiber in it..You did great! You're right..the carbs didn't come from white carbs at all so they pass the crap test! LOL..touche on the Lord of the Rings reference..I did the Golum reference a couple days ago myself!

Hit the ground running this morning too..good thing it's friday or I'd be in a world of hurt tomorrow!
I'm so over this week. News is that I get 5 hours overtime next week. I'm gonna try getting to work a half hour early and see how I like working half hour late too..we'll see. If I can talk to the custodian and see if they will turn the alarm off earlier, I'll be doing my overtime hour before work..

AND I didn't even get to the two hardboiled eggs I brought cuz I didn't work late. The only white carb I had was the sandwich thin this evening..hubby falls back on burgers when he can't decide what to eat. Oh, and the tortilla for the snack in the afternoon..those are gone so that won't happen again.

We're having a barbecue tomorrow too so I'm sure I'll be eating a burger tomorrow too..I may have to find some more chicken breasts to bake for my lunches this weekend too. I'm down to two more packages. I shoulda baked last weekend cuz it's gonna be about 100 degrees this weekend. booo

anyway, I'm happy with how I did. I'm looking at the scale hard lately cuz I'm over 130 and my goal was 125..I have an appointment with my surgeon and I'm so afraid he's gonna tsk tsk me for putting on 6 pounds (in 6 years?!? should I really stress over that? yeah, I'm beating myself up for nothing)

See ya! Have a nice weekend.
