Accountability Monday

I am back.  I was posting my food pretty well for a little while and it worked really well.  And then I stopped.  And everything was okay up until about a month ago.  And then it wasn't.  I keep trying to take my control back.  I act right for a while, do things that work and then one day I decide I want to do it my way and I am off.  I was reading through your post's Dawn and there was one where you posted the 10 things that work and one of those things was about not doing this alone.  I used to go to Overeater's Anonymous and stopped.  I am going to my first meeting in over two years tomorrow.  Anyway, what works best is when I have a plan for what I am going to eat and I follow through with that plan.  It also really helps to post my food somewhere and have accountability.  My track record for consistently being accountable here is not great, but today I am here.

Here is today's food:

Well, welcome BACK! I'm happy to see you. We had a similar conversation this evening at home..Our internet has been really wonky and I wanted to call the tech and have them come out and re-align the dish..at $50 that's an expense I really dragged my feet about and dear hubby said he didn't *need* the internet..well, I do. I need it for accountability and support..I don't go to support meetings..I come here..and facebook. It's how I manage to keep from eating a whole gallon of ice cream and falling asleep with my face on the toilet seat..It keeps me sane!

I didn't send my list of foods home but I did keep up with my eats on fitday..It stacks up like this:

coffee

breakfast: 1/4 protein waffle, 1/2 small apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte (fixed my espresso maker! YAY ME!)

24 oz iced tea (forgot to brew hot tea but actually drank it all!)

1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

24 oz drink mix with ice, Propel (As I recall..colorless)

24 oz drink mix with the rest of the ice, caffeinated

Lunch was 4 oz chicken breast baked, 2 cups romaine lettuce, 1 medium tomato, 1 oz thousand island dressing

no snacks at all in the afternoon..could have eaten a hard boiled egg but didn't..I had my physical therapy

24 oz drink mix, I forget which flavor

24 oz drink mix while I was shopping at Winco to pick up pancake mix and country gravy mix..the guys at home are on a biscuit and gravy kick lately..

got home and had some sugar free chocolate covered pretzels about 8 of them.

Dinner: 1/3 lb burger with processed cheese on a sandwich thin

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1385
Fat: 69.6
Carbs: 90.3
Protein: 109.5

Those are good numbers..And after the day I had yesterday I needed them, badly..

You did good too, Leslie..keep up the good work!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
