Not the Same Dawn

We're planning on a small road trip next weekend so I set out this morning NOT to spend any money..NOOOO shopping. But dear hubby wanted to take me out to lunch and then to get a tank of gas. We stopped at friends house and when we went to leave the right front tire on my car (my precious Sally the Mustang) was FLAT..so all plans changed..yup, lunch and then tires..while they were changing the tires we walked through KMart and then the furniture store next door to them and then Home Depot next to that..then back across the street to check on little Sally..they informed us that her brakes were also worn..no prob. I'll have my staff mechanic work on that tomorrow! LOL..

So the day was all about not spending money but spending FAR more on tires. but Sally rides Sooooo much smoother now. We'll be very happy with those tires next weekend when we take her for our road trip..

My eats for the day:

coffee

waffles with strawberries and sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte

24 oz drink mix with ice..

starving as I was at our friends' house (putting on the donut spare and all..4 hours since I'd eaten!) my friend gave me a pack of ritz with peanut butter on them..lifesaver!

second breakfast (actually 12:30!) 1/2 egg burrito with no hashed browns and coffee

24 oz water with ice

24 oz drink mix with no ice..this one was caffeinated

Snack when we got home: 3 sf wafer cookies

Dinner: 5 oz (before cooking) burger patty, processed cheese, on a sandwich thin with spicy brown mustard

I think more water in the form of ice tea!

Actually not bad. Might have been better if I'd had more protein but that's okay..I walked a bunch today!
