Not the Same Dawn
on 5/16/12 10:30 am - BEE EFF EEE, CA
Busy busy day..starting with no hubby and no son at 5:30 am..they went next door to help with concrete installation..then the meeting at work I was suppose to be at yesterday afternoon was moved to this morning (Impromptu)..and with physical therapy I'm rushing!

My eats:

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:30 am 1/4 protein waffles, 6 medium strawberries, sf pancake syrup

6:00 am double espresso latte with soy milk

9:00 am 24 oz herb tea with splenda-Celestial Seasons Vanilla Chamomile

8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat

8:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated

11:00 am 24 oz iced coffee with soy milk

12:30 pm started my lunch 7 oz cooked lean ground beef..with seasoning (actually was our low carb meat loaf from the other night)..Took me a long time to eat this but I did weigh it before I brought it for lunch..I could have had cucumbers with it but decided against that..I did have some ranch dressing on the warmed up

1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light White Grape (no color)

3:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with no ice, Hawaiian Punch Green Berry (after physical therapy, while picking up milk at costco and picking up all the mail)

5:15 pm 4 oz stewed chicken breast, 3 medium carrots and the last of my fruit ****tail sugar free cake..(I put two big chicken breasts in the crock pot this morning with carrots, onions and broccoli..seems like the broccoli basically disappeared even though I put it on top of the chicken..flavoring was a half pack of ranch dressing mix..and it was pretty darn good!)

DAYUM SUSHI DAY!!!
I normally get 2 rolls & a small teriyaki chicken & rice. i eat 1 roll & take the rest home for the man child for dinner. Wellp - today chef forgot NO AVO & included it in 1 of the rolls. So i took it back & he made me another (YAY!) w/ no avo & let me keep the other, making 3 rolls total! Weellllhheeeelllll I couldnt let that go to waste, could i!! I tried to pon off the avo roll on a few colleagues, but they werent having it. So i had my 1 roll for lunch & took the rest home. The man child had his roll & chicken/rice for dinner, leaving the other non-avo roll for me. No problem - so i ate that too..... Problem... then (for 2nd dinner) i had a pork chop. UGH!!! todays eats pushed me right over the edge.

Breakfast - DONT ASK!!
20oz coffee w/burnt almond cake (office bday). i dont even like that kind, but this was REALLY GOOD!!
i should have knows it was going to be down hill from here...

snack -

16oz tea
8oz protein shake

dinner -

16oz green tea

2nd dinner -

wow..numbers make me cross eyed! but it's just one day..if it was a month of days, then I might have to cough a couple of times and tap my foot and ask when you were gonna turn that train wreck around but..one day? psh..You're eating so good normally..you're allowed a day to slide a bit.

think about where you can pull carbs and calories out and put more protein in..tuna without the ritz..maybe on cucumber slices instead?  but the cake..meh..not really much to work with on that. I still haven't figured out a replacement for cake other than sugar free and that's not carb or calorie free so it doesn't matter so much..

Keep fighting the good fight..pick your self up, dust off and have another try. You're worth it!

I have TOTALLY been thinking about slicing up some cucumber & having that instead of the ritz! I might have to see how that goes this weekend.
while i wasnt all that happy about the cals, I was really surprised that my carb # was so low what w/ the ritz & rice from the rolls, & that the protein was higher.
sometimes i wonder if my tracking system database im using actually has correct data...
