Accountability - Tuesday
Tuesday..Yes, I got up early enough to do my exercises..I actually did 15 minutes of yoga (well, 12 minutes of yoga and 3 minutes of step aerobics..can't help it! I love that part.) and then when the sun came up I went out and buried the several spots under the stack of rooftiles where the dogs have escavated themselves a dangerous tunnel. I spoke to two coworkers today about if they would like to come and get the tiles..THIS WEEK..I want them gone. Then my hubby killed a rattlesnake in our garage. I already got chewed out for going near the stack of rooftiles and after he found that snake and killed it, I got chewed out again..It seems that because our neighbor cleared 160 acres across from our property, we're gonna have all sorts of critters moving in or trying to! And yes, I'm looking into vaccinations against snake bite for the dogs..at least the ones that would go after a snake (the stupid beagle and the shepherd)..$50 well spent if it helps.
My eats:
4:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffle, 4 strawberries, 1/2 sf pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso latte with soy milk
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea with splenda-Lipton. funny, hubby tries to throw my tea bag away BEFORE I have a chance to use it. I had to dig it out of the trash today..silly man!
8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:45 am 1/2 the Bacon Avocado Burrito from Dennys over the weekend..my mouth is BURNING..wish I could drink something cool but I'm waiting! waiting..well, maybe a cheater sip.
10:15 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half and splenda
2:00 pm 4 oz stewed chicken breast, 1/3 cup greenbeans, 4 medium carrots (all from last night's dinner)
3:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wylers Peach Tea
4:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg and 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
6:30 pm 1/3 lb lean ground beef cheese burger with pepper jack (starting to be my FAVORITE cheese) with dijon mustard and some french fries
I'm ready for bed. I have another container of ice tea and heading there now..tomorrow is Physical Therapy..so yoga tomorrow is serious!
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1836 (OUCH)
Fat: 99.5
Carbs: 128.5
Protein: 125.3
Protein number is good..the rest are alittle disappointing. but that denny's burrito is really a killer. I mean it was really really good but it sure was spendy in the calories. The carbs in it were good and I don't see any really bad carbs other than the sandwich thin and the french fries (I ate 6 of them..nice wedges my hubby makes from fresh russets..So I'll count this day as a win or at least leaning toward the winning side..not all bad at least.
How did you do?

We get a half dozen people get bit each year around here..I don't think we've had any deaths from it but dogs get the worst of it cuz there isn't any health insurance for them..Last year the beagle got bit and she cost us $4000 (at least!) to save. The vet gave her a 50/50 chance..She's fine now..older, maybe a little wiser. I can hope at least.
You didn't do too bad..If you feel like you're losing control that 5dpt will be a great detox..Go for it..

Rattlesnakes in the garage?!!!
I think I just had a heart attack.
Thank goodness no one was bitten. As a pet mommy to 3 dogs and 2 cats, the shots would definitely be money well spent to keep the furbabies safe(r).
Dont beat yourself up too much over one day's numbers. As you said, it was mainly good calories and you're moving and not sitting on the couch. Definitely a check in the plus column!
