Accountability - Wednesday
I fully intended to get up at 4:30 today..then I turned the alarm off and woke up at 5:30 instead..I still did about 15 minutes of PT exercises and some weight exercises for my arms and chest (helping my shoulder, I hope)..so I redeemed my attempt at least. Oh, I called the vet. The vaccine for snake bite do not help for Mojave Green snake bites..RATS! And the avoidance classes are over now. We can only hope and pray that the animals will stay away from the Greens this year..
My eats:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffle, 4 strawberries, 1/2 sf pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso latte with soy milk
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea with splenda-Lipton of some kind..Green Tea I think
8:30 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:15 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Lemonade
10:30 am 4 oz pork chop, grilled (left overs from the other night)
12:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
1:00 pm 3 oz chicken breast stewed, 3 cooked carrots from the other night's dinner
2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch
3:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Tea and Lemonade
5:15 pm 3 sugar free wafer cookies (I think I know why I've put on a couple pounds..I've been eating alot of these..3 is 140 calories. and 17 carbs.) Three isn't bad but 10 is stepping over the line.
5:30 pm 1 low carb stuffed bell pepper, 1/2 medium apple
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1437
Fat: 71.8
Carbs: 89.3
Protein: 120.4
So even with the three sf cookies (trust me, I've been eating them like proverbial candy lately cuz they're SOOOOO good..I'm trying to keep from eating closer to 10 of them and it's HARD..that's why the apple after dinner cuz it's fiber is keeping me pretty darn full. I don't know what I'm gonna do later..maybe some iced tea..
I'm good with this day, lets hope I can stay strong later.
How did you do?

LOL..gates don't work well unless you have fences..we're on 10 acres initially and 30 acres totally..I've looked into fencing and to do it right, it's expensive and still doesn't keep the dogs in. Even if I do fence the dogs in, ya can't fence the snakes out..sucks.
You did great. The carbs were good carbs. butternut squash is good. Beans are the BEST! Don't you just love tuna? I think the figures on your protein were figured too low cuz tuna is great stuff for protein. a 5 oz can is 40 grams..
Keep up the good work..See ya

Does the vet sell an anti-venom that you can keep on hand for the Mojave Green or it there simply nothing available for that particular bite? Yikes! One of the downsides of living so close with nature (but I dont think I'd give it up for the world).

The anti venom is $800..we paid that for the dose Candy got last year..sadly, they won't sell it to me so I'd have to take her in and with the visit, emergency AND venom..plus iv to feed nutrients and such..another $4000..I love that dog but this year, she's on her own..
Your list is great again today and the numbers are great too..the sunshine just makes me so much lighter and happier..I absolutely couldn't live in Seattle or somewhere that the days are long (like Montana where I spent a good portion of my childhood..the sun sets there about 3:30 and comes up again at 9 am the next morning in the winter..hate hate hate that! )
Keep up the good work. See ya.

Great list..Good number on the water..with jogging you're gonna need it..and with the protein too..
The carbs you have listed look like great ones..not any bad carbs that I can see..apple, romaine, marinara sauce..all good stuff. The protein bar looks good too. Generally the high carb ones are 300 calories..
I think it looks great. Keep up the good work! See ya.
