I did it again..didnt' send my list home..but I did keep track of my eats. I saw the chiropractor today and they made my hips and back feel much better. I'm thinking that I need to do some yoga..and they agreed. So tomorrow I'm gonna try and drag my carcas out of bed and do some of them!

I hate rushed mornings..Not so this morning. I got up at 4:30 am to do some yoga and after fiddling with the Wii and all that..found out I don't have batteries for the Wii step..damn it..lol. I knew it would be something like a circus doing this the first time..that's why I got up so early!
Good for you saying no to that bagel. Ya know, bagels have quadrupled in size over the years..the original bagel was much smaller and more healthy for ya..I looked into making them and . . . nah..that's just too much work!
You did awesome. Saturday is coming! Keep up the good work. See ya. Give your dad a giant hug for me. My cousin's husband lost his father and we figure he's only in his 60's. dear hubby will be 69 next friday (the 4th)..so all of these young people (compared to him) who are sick and dying are depressing the hell out of him..and me.

Happy Thursday!! (or Friday since this is my off friday week).
Thanks so much for your replies. They make me feel great. & thanks also for remembering my dad. Its funny that you mention him b/c I had been thinking that I needed to talk to him about the living situation. You remember that, since he's been home, ive realized that he really couldnt make it in his own place. IDK what i was waiting for to tell him that but the apartments called yesterday & theres finally an apartment available in the place we were looking at. If it were an asisted living place, i would have no issue w/ him going, but its just a regular age & income restricted apt complex. So no "help" if he needed it.
We talked last night & i told him that i dont wanna be making decisions for him all the time. If he wanted to go - fine. He if wanted to stay - fine. But i needed him to say so. I wanted a better quality of life for him & didnt want him to be inside all the time like the self imposed shut in that he was last year.
He said he wanted to stay & that he would try to be more independant & DO more stuff (like sit outside & get some fresh air).
that made me feel better...
APparently there are 2 ways to make bagels. The "jewish" way (as put by a former colleague who preferred her bagels made the traditional jewish way) & the way most are made these days - ?? difference is boiled & baked - ?? either way, i agree - way too much work. thats why i havent made the beignets Ive had sitting in the cabinet for the past 3 yrs lol
Im very sad to hear about your cousins hubby. Thats crazy & way too young to pass away.
It really makes you think & treasure the time we have - not letting moments slip by for tomorrow as tomorrow is never promised.
