Accountability - monday
Monday Monday..yikes. With our daughter back on the divorce path, our other daughter getting kicked out of her house because she can't pay the rent, a friend losing her 18 year old son from a heart attack and coming home to discover our neighbor up the road who had been sick, has passed away this morning..sigh.on top of all that, this morning the scale read an extra 3 pounds..wow..this was Friday the 13th in SPADES!
My eats:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffle, 1/2 small apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup, some butter buds
6:30 am double espresso latte with soy milk
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Celestial Seasons..Sleigh Ride Sugar Cookie (my favorite!)
8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
8:45 am 24 oz drink mix with alittle ice, Wyler's Berry Lemonade
10:00 am part of my lunch: 2 cups lettuce, 4 oz chicken breast, 4 slices pineapple, 8 grape tomatoes, 1 oz balsamic vinaigrette
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half and splenda..really the weather was too nice to be cooped up at Starbucks. I think I'll pack a pair of socks and do some walking when the weather is this good! Tomorrow..
12:45 pm the rest of my salad
1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
2:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg
3:15 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
4:15 ish pm 1/2 small apple, 1 T reduced fat peanut butter
a few sips of water on the way home cuz I wasn't sure it had been a half hour..
6:00 pm 1 low carb stuffed bell pepper
I'll need some more water..totals for the day:

Despite it being Monday, the weather this week is going to be gorgeous- which is lovely since I looooove the sunshine! Hubby is feeling a little better today, but he stayed home from work to rest.
I decided to take my weight progress ticker out of my signature for a while. I noticed that I've been super focused on the scale numbers which fuels a lot of frustration when it doesnt move (or moves too slowly in my estimation). I also had my husband hide the bathroom scale so I wont be tempted to weigh myself daily.
Instead, I want to focus on my food intake and cardio/strength for a while to truly get my habits solidified and not bouncing from this to that in an effort to get the scale to move.

WOW! that is totally some friday the 13th stuff!! What a mess. I hope everything turns out ok for your girls & im sorry to hear of your friend & neighbor. That sucks! Poor thing! i know i would be completely losing it if i lost my son.
