when i started i put 175 as a goal.. i am 5 foot 10. but with the amount of extra skin i am carryin i am not sure if i should lose anymore right now. i had a hernia repair 4 weeks ago n i have to go back in for plastics... i keep the skin in a binder right now n what a job. they said i could lose 30 to 50 lbs with a tummy tuck... so if i take into consideration that..plus the skin on my legs, arms n arse... i could be under my goal... so i am maintaining now n seeing what the plastics has to say about the possible skin weight i could be carryin.

Hi Veranda:

My doctor told me that I should lose around 150 lbs. and he was on the money.  I kinda wanted to weigh around 145 lbs. but never got the last ten pounds off.  I hope with plastics I will get the remaining weight off and get to my dream size 8.  I am currently a size 10-12.  With you only being out for 1 year, you should be able to get the rest off or at least within 10 lbs. of it.

Im 5'4.. Started at 318. After LBL I got down to 127 but looked awful (and that wIth new 575cc boobies). During training for this last marathon, Im hanging around 143-145. Mentally I'd like to be bvk to 137 but whatever. I'm a freakin size 2. I do believe some is muscle.

My surgeon told me He could get me to 150. My nutritionist said 145.
My goal was 175 or a size 16. I just wanted to be any weight that got me off all the maintenance Meds I was on.

Five pounds remove in LBL

Be happy.

I think you should also go by body fat percentage. I really wanted to weigh 135, I'm 5'4". My body fat is 26% and I'm trying to maintain between 153-157. I'm still considered overweight, but I have a healthy body fat percentage. Also, I think I can maintain this weight. The less you weigh the harder it is to maintain that weight. I was at one time in my life 350 pounds. I think the biggest question to your self is wether you can maintain a certain weight. Good luck.
