The wind is so bad today that we're losing roofing on the new patio and it's flying over the roof around the cars on the other side of the house. I had to move my car so that it wasn't in the line of fire..Nothing can be done outside so I did some house stuff like baking and some cleaning..and then I took a 3 hour nap. lovely!

My eats for the day:

woke up really late..no time for breakfast, actually

coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (I made some more of this too)

double espresso latte with plain soy milk

24 oz herb tea with splenda (while walking around at Winco and Home Depot)

breakfast: 1/2 egg burrito with no hashed browns

24 oz herb tea with splenda (while puttering in the kitchen)

Lunch: pastrami lettuce wraps (4 romaine lettuce leaves, 4 oz turkey pastrami, 2 slices swiss cheese, 1 T thousand island dressing)

nap time..three hours

sugar free fruit ****tail cake with whipped topping (after my nap)

24 o herb tea with splenda

dinner: 4 oz baked chicken breast, 1/3 cup mashed potato, 1/2 cup canned carrots and peas

Totals for the day: 
Calories: 1247
Fat: 59.0
Carbs: 83.8
Protein: 96.6

Actually, not too bad. with no outdoor activity, the lack of calories isn't an issue. Well, if you count going out to pick up roofing from the yard, I guess there was some activity.  We did some shopping this morning so there was walking and I did vacuum the house too..

It was an incredibly gorgeous day!  I had a mother-son day and it was a blast.  We hung out in the morning (watching TV and chatting) then I took him to do some indoor kart racing (his favorite activity).  I've gotta say...my kid can drive!  He took first place in one race and third in another.


Today's data for me:

Stationary bike - 15 minutes (ankle strengthening)

Awesome..I've been thinking of what to do for my son's birthday in the fall..maybe that would be a good thing..but our cart track is outside..

I bet your son would love it and its still warm enough in the fall to enjoy racing on the outdoor track.
