Well, today was a pretty restful day. We got up early (except I slept in anyway...) and went into town for a vacation breakfast and I paid to have Dexter's car filled up with gas (a REAL treat!) We did alittle shopping and got home before noon..I have a bunch of stuff for my lunches next week..I found a pretty good deal on turkey pastrami and rye bread..Some left overs..I'm ready!

My eats for today:

coffee with NSA Swiss Miss

24 oz herb tea with splenda

1/2 egg burrito (actually did skip my waffles this morning!)

24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Strawberry no color

24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Strawberry Lemonade

Lunch: 1 slice black rye bread (huge slice!) 4 oz roast beef (left over from a dinner a while ago), 1 slice processed cheese (not real cheese either..bleh) and 1 tablespoon mayo

24 oz drink mix with ice, Cherry Limeade

Dinner: 1 small low carb stuffed bell pepper, 1 oz honey roasted peanuts

I figure one more container of water and I'm good. Vitamins, check. Exercises, check - well, once anyway.

Its hard to believe that yours cals are 1400 when hardly ate anything! Usually your list is quite extensive - still totaling around 1400 - but today its really light. Are you sure that total is right?

so so oh so happy its the weekend!! Had a great Friday - even thought "i made the new girl cry" ... wait what?!?! OMG!!! Apparently she's very "fragile" & me - well - i dont tend to have the lightest touch... Its her 1st week (2nd day) & she asked me if she should tell her boss (my old boss) that she was feeling overwhelmed & im like.... "mmm.... thats the LAST THING i would do. I would suck it up & figure out how to deal with it. Get organized so you dont feel overwhelmed"... she took that & cried. SO NOW Im the bad guy (for being honest w/ her) EVEN THOUGH Im not the only one who told her that & now known as the B who made the new girl cry!!! What ever.. Im still beating myself up - but shes got to learn how to deal with it & thats the truth. If she doesnt get some thicker skin shes never going to make it.

My Friday eats:
Breakfast:
1/2 raisin bagel w/ cream cheese
6oz LF greek yogurt

Lunch:
1c clam chowder shoup

Snack:
1/2 raisin bagel w/ cream cheese

2nd Snack:

It did seem a bit short on substance but I did check it..the burrito (half of it, with 2 eggs per half - I checked with the restaurant staff on how many eggs were in the burrito) was over 300 calories. The roast beef was 300 calories. the slice of black rye was 132 calories..the stuffed bell pepper was nearly 300 calories. and the honey roasted peanuts were 160..It sort of makes you understand how eating less can be too much..mayo by itself is 100 calories! I still weigh my main dishes so when I have pork chops or steak, I weigh it before I start (especially if it has bone in it) and then after to figure out how much was bone..

You did great..protein spread out throughout the day is the best way to do it..

Keep up the good work. See ya.
