Accountability - Monday
I need to get motivated here..I'm cranky and didn't feel like doing my exercises (and paid for it today at PT)..don't feel like taking my vitamins but I did today and I promise to try and do better on that..Just cranky and don't even feel like trying. boo..I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up at 11 pm and again at 1 am and stayed awake till about 4 am..slept in..nightmares and itching. Then I couldn't get ahold of my mom.
My eats today:
coffee with NSA Swiss Miss (I made another tub of this today. It will be better this time cuz I'm using splenda instead of truvia - which just failes..bleh)
protein waffle, 1 small apple, 1/2 sf pancake syrup
double espresso latte with plain soy milk, frothed
24 oz herb tea (so far not bad.. but then it fell off from there)
Lunch: 3 oz of corned beef and 1 oz jack cheese on toasted sour dough bread..high in carbs and not the good ones.
24 oz drink mix with ice, not caffeinated - Wyler's Strawberry Lemonade if I remember correctly
no snacks..none. did some house work. Made 12 servings of protein waffles in various flavors. chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. I tackled the office and the stacked up paperwork in there..and some little new kitten accidents on the carpet..I'm thinking some more baking tomorrow...maybe some sf chocolate chip cookie dough since hubby and son have some of theirs in the fridge..I would like some too!
early dinner: 1/2 serving lasagna (not a cup of it but half cup-the numbers wouldn't match what I found but still, just about right). high high in carbs!
double espresso latte with sf caramel syrup and flavored coffee and plain soy milk
24 oz drink mix with some ice, Wyler's Peach Tea (I know I need more water..I can feel the dehydration headache now..again, my attitude sucked)
For dinner the plan was left overs but lasagna didn't appeal to me since I already had my limit of carbs..so I improvised:
4 oz cooked chicken breasts from the freezer, 6 broccoli flowerettes, 2 slices of pineapple from a can (from when we had pizza the other night) and 1 oz cheddar cheese in a bowl and heated in the microwave (and some chicken tomato broth added for flavor) It wasn't bad at all..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1548
Fat: 69.0
Carbs: 128.6
Protein: 110.5
Better than yesterday. All in all, not horrible. The real problem is my pissy attitude today..I need a smack upside the head or a kick in the pants or maybe a nice walk in the sunshine..The weather has been horrible and I have a rash that makes even wearing clothes a pain in the ASS..I itch from my belly button down and on my right elbow..elbow? seriously? sigh..I need to sit here and think about what would make me feel better and adjust my attitude.

I can completely relate with the weather and pissy moods. It rained basically all week last week and I was grumpy too. So sorry about your rash!

Loooove!!!! I prefer walking over using my stationary bike. My doc cleared me to walk without my boot for a couple of hours a day (plus physical therapy), so I'm using my time on the treadmill!

You're right..the weather is a major issue with me. I just don't do winter well, especially when I think I can feel spring just around the corner..that and I had a nightmare I couldn't even remember the night before..I'd tried to call my mom (which I've been meaning to do for weeks and weeks so I was feeling guilty..) and there was no answer and no answering maching..so I felt even worse cuz I figured she had the land line turned off..what a horrible daughter I am! all that and then I started thinking I hadn't seen my sisters on facebook (her real daughters, I"m her step daughter but I love her like my real mom who has been gone since 1974..)
I went to put my cell phone on the charger last night before bed and there was her message..saying she missed my call cuz she was napping and that we should do lunch Wednesday or Thursday and that she loves me..ah...that's better.
You did good. Good carbs.. good protein but low..tomorrow..you have fun on that treadmill..I need to walk more. I think I'm getting sores on my backside from sitting around. LOL.

Alittle guilt for me is a good thing..it gets me up off the couch and doing something rather than watching funky 50's movies in black and white..seriously Godzilla was on today. I nearly killed myself doing laundry rather than watch that stuff. LOL.
